A Researcher, political commentator cum media and communications strategist, Amb. Elvis Ehimotor on Thursday weighed in on the emerging development in the politics of Edo State which is the victory of Dr. Asue Ighodalo in the just-concluded Edo State PDP Governorship primary election.

According to Amb. Elvis Ehimotor, the emergence of Dr. Asue Ighodalo is a sign that Edo State PDP is retaining Edo State. He said his reasons are not far-fetched as Dr. Asue Ighodalo is the right candidate to bring victory for the PDP in the State. He stated clearly that there is no Victor, no vanquish as all other aspirants are winners.

"I thank the delegates, stakeholders and our leaders in the PDP in Edo State for trusting Dr. Asue Ighodalo with the mandate of the party in the forthcoming Edo State Governorship election.

"Indeed, Edo State PDP has chosen what is right, just and perfect in choosing Dr. Asue Ighodalo as the candidate of the PDP in the forthcoming Edo Governorship election.

"I am very excited about this victory. It is a victory for democracy. It is a victory for PDP in Edo State and it is a victory for all of Edo State. Congratulations to Dr. Asue Ighodalo, the candidate of the people on this resounding victory. Indeed, Asue Ighodalo is the man of the people and today, it is clear and on the main election day when all people of Edo State cast their votes, it will be more clearer," Amb. Elvis Ehimotor said.

Speaking further, Amb. Elvis harped on the unity of the party in the state while indicating that there is No Victor and No vanquish as everyone is a winner. We need to come together now more than ever to make our party and state better.
