With the current exchange rate crisis, it makes no financial sense having up to that as savings or more than that...! If your money is not yielding interest monthly or profits in investments, you are not serious financially. Wow! this shows the level of poverty in the land. That is less than 350 dollars. That means in a population of about 200 million Nigerians, only 10 million people can boast of 500 thousand in their account. God have mercy! For better context, you can now say only about 5% have $300 in their account.How is the rising food prizes and overall cost of living a correction for monies being in the hands of a few.. We're back to this same patronage policy of distributing monies that clearly can be aggregated and invested into agriculture to improve food supply. But no, we'd rather pretend to be sharing it to buy votes for next election, while stealing the other half. Buhari shared cash for eight years and left the north poorer than he met it.
