Understanding What It Means To Feel High: A Spiritual Reflection by ArisingStorm: 6:06am On Feb 25
Imagine you're at a party, and someone offers you a way to feel out of this world(by substance like weed, alcohol drugs etc). Sounds tempting, right? That first rush feels incredible because it's like stepping out of your day-to-day life and into a world where none of your problems exist. But here's the catch: this escape isn't just a free pass; it's more like opening your mind's door to any wandering spirit looking for a home. Unfortunately, these aren't the friendly kind of guests.

When the buzz wears off, and reality starts knocking again, you find yourself wanting to go back to that 'feel-good' place. So, you might reach for whatever gave you that high in the first place, trying to chase that feeling again and again. It becomes a loop. You're enjoying the ride, but so are some unseen visitors—let's call them the party crashers of the spirit world. And while you're feeling all light and breezy, these spirits are having a field day.

It's not just you and me; even those we watch on stage, belting out tunes or captivating us with their performances, might be under the influence, hosting these unseen guests. It's a well-known secret in the entertainment world, where the thrill of the show is often fueled by more than just talent or hard work.

But here's something you might not have thought about: getting high isn't just about substances. It's about who or what you're letting steer your life. Are you handing over the keys to chaos or to peace? To damage or to healing? Because, believe it or not, we're all vessels, waiting to be filled. And it's up to us to choose who we invite in.

Now, let's talk about the ultimate High, the cleanest and most powerful kind you can experience. This isn't about escaping reality; it's about enhancing it in the best way possible. When you're filled with the spirit of The Most High, you're not just high; you're uplifted. It's the kind of high that doesn't leave you wanting more in a desperate way but fills you with peace and a sense of purpose.

Remember the story of the Messiah in the wilderness? Even after 40 days without food, He was spiritually soaring. That's because He was filled with the purest spirit, not needing any earthly substance to feel elevated. And when faced with temptations, He chose to stay true to that ultimate source of highness, showing us that the strongest stand you can take is with the highest power.

In the end, being high can mean different things. It can be a temporary escape that ends up costing more than you bargained for. Or it can be a permanent state of peace and fulfillment, no substances needed. It's about what you let into your life: the chaos of temporary highs or the lasting peace of the ultimate High. The choice is yours.
