AntiChristian:According to the Old Law by which visions were given, it is by the account of two or three witnesses that a truth should be established/revealed. The one account regarding these 24 elders is found in the book of Revelation. Where is the second account to help you further under the identity of these supposed 24 elders? That should be what would clue you in to the supposed identity of those John saw in his vision..  |

Anyway, my current guess as per the identity of the 24 Elders is the 24 prophets of the Old Law of Moses(John the Baptist being the last of them) who are recorded to have been sent by God before Jesus Christ came. |

AntiChristian, what tactics are you on about? What I haven't been able to fathom is your fixation on the Scriptures of my God. It appears you read them more than you read your own. You shouldn't have stopped at 15 questions, make them 24. I am filled with the Set-apart Spirit and Power of my God, YHVH Almighty, the one and only true God, the Creator of the heavens, the earth, the seas and everything in them. You aren't supposed to be bothered. You probably think that you are making a mockery of the Spirit and Power of YHVH Almighty, on the contrary, you are only making mockery of yourself. Before you draw my attention to TenQ, like I have said in the past, I don't really know what the two of you are competing for. My Master and Saviour, Yahushua the Messiah, the Word and the begotten Son of YHVH Almighty, didn't send any of his saints, servants, followers or messengers to go and start antagonizing others by criticizing their religious books. I will tell who they were for the ignorant churchians not for the poster who should be dealing with the many errors in his own religion. They were the first set of men God Almighty gave the power to become concils in his kingdom. They were the first chosen ones who were exceptional on their task on earth. They were great kings who ruled the earth with the wisdom of God Almighty. They were the first men to ascend to the stargate and then to the house of God Almighty. They were not heavenly beings but earth cos they were redeemed from the earth - Rev 5:9. Expanse2020:Well, you are reading from a vision and assertion a literal interpretation of the contents of the vision which is a problem. My guess at this point is that the 24 elders are a reference to the 24 Prophets of Old chosen by God to speak on His behalf to the people of Israel. John sees them as elders because they are of the Old Law of Moses which predates the New Agreement, Jesus Christ. They sit council of God because of the role they all occupied over God's Israel - an advisory, deliberative, or legislative body of people formally constituted. They are said to be in Heaven around the throne because they were after all chosen by the God who presides over the affairs of men to oversea the people of Israel who are His. |
