Mr. Obi, a prominent politician and businessman, did not mince words when he claimed that the entirety of funds stolen through cybercrime in a year pales in comparison to what is allegedly siphoned from government coffers in a single day.

"The amount of money that 'Yahoo Yahoo' people steal in one year is not up to the amount of money stolen in government in one day," Mr. Obi boldly declared to a stunned audience. "We need to be honest with ourselves. The scale of corruption within our government institutions is staggering."
