Nov. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Nigeria, Africa’s biggest oil producer, is seeking investors for mining 34 different types of minerals, including gold, coal and bitumen, Mines Minister Mohammed Sada said.

The minerals are in large, commercial deposits at 450 sites across the country, Sada told a conference in Abuja, the capital, today.

The government will offer investors a capital allowances for as much as 95 percent of qualifying expenditures and waivers of custom and import duties for mining equipment, he said. New investors will get between three and five years of tax holidays and other tax concessions, Sada said.
