Thank goodness they don't own Abuja. Is it not Lagos State that becomes a ghost town during festival seasons?

That's because they are the one always covetous of other tribe's lands. Always looking to reap from where they did not sow.

And your own region is a ghost town for 364 days of the year. Stay in your region and develop it. All tribes don't want you in their regions.

You cannot be an American president if you weren't born in America. You can only be a senator or governor.

By the way, in an ideal federation, there shouldn't be any state of origin. It should be state of residence. Nigeria isn't fit to be a country; there should be another English word for what we have.

Thank God you said festival period you should have stayed back in your populous states, since you don't know that the period is when most workers and schools are on holidays.

It's the Easterners that are pushing for State of Origin to be scrapped hoping to leverage on their huge numbers in other parts of the country to take up jobs, political appointments etc. meant for the indigenes.. Yet these people are the ones that carry identity tags on their head the most. An Abia or Imo person can't get employment in Anambra State Civil Service and vice versa..

Yorubas are okay doing our thing within our region and territory.. no longer throat for jobs in other regions.

Same thing with Northerners, they are okay living in Kano, Jos and likes but you see Igbos, you'll find them in every nook and cranny of this country competing with the locals, even dragging equal rights with the indigenes.

Lol. Check out this stunning display of intellectual deficiency.

Lagos having less population in festive periods is proof of what exactly considing the norm worldwide is for major cities of the world to empty out during kids school holiday, Easter, Xmas and other periods when families vacate abroad.

Is the festive period reality of Lagos worse than the situation of ala Igbo where you have all shamelessly abandoned your states of origin to flee to the SW leaving thousands of empty homes for 11 months, to lizards and snakes, while you scurry around for food in obodo Lagos, Oyo, Ogun etal?

You belong in the category of those who should think before they talk.

Lol. When will you hypocritical attention-seekers and covetous trolls learn to accept that Yorubas are equal in the SW yet same does not apply to Igbos?

You think we don't know that all the utterances of you lot is driven by covetousness for everything in the SW from homes, lands, jobs, opportunities to political offices?

Some things you can have, per the reality we are all Nigerians, but political offices is a no-no and will be even more difficult for any Igbo to smell in future after the antics of Chinedu that has now woken Yorubas to your threat and ultimate mission.

Show me a non Yoruba in any of the people you mentioned above ? Lagos is Yoruba state,Igbo will NEVER rule it ! Be proud of your own identity and where you are from,Lagos is not a no man's land and it will never be ! Why are you not proud of Abia or Ebonyi ?

What is it about your own land that you're ashamed of such that you prefer instead to identify with another people's land ? What a shame,it can only be inferiority complex of the highest order;like Nnamdi Azikiwe like the rest of you lots from that tiny erosion ravaged land of primitive hinterland bushmen !

Chinedu,be proud of your own heritage and identity even if it's nothing to write about but that's who you're! You're igbo,a sojourner in Lagos State;the five states of south East is your homeland !

Precisely. To be blind to the expansionist agenda of Igbo is to be the digger of your own grave.

Their modus operandi, as a highly covetous and megalomaniac people, has not changed at all from many decades ago when Azikiwe’s obsession was to lead Yorubas in the SW and install his fellow Igbos everywhere as leaders at every level of Yoruba society.

Exactly.. the unity we have in Nigeria is not good enough for them until 'State of Origin' is abolished so they can drag politics with other ethnic groups outside their region.

Removing 'State of Origin' will only result in blo0dshed and a more deadlier civil war than what was experienced in the 60s'.
Nobody come joke with anybody again in this Nigeria wey we dey.. do anyhow and see anyhow.

He has already answered. It is your covetous and usurper nature that blinds you to what is obvious.

You are using words you don't understand i.e "foreigners".

It is you and your people who are foreigners to Lagos and not the names you listed.

The reality is that Fulanis and Igbos are respectively the most violently, unreasonably and insidiously expansionist ethnic groups in Nigeria.

Yoruba leadership and intelligentsia class now understand this dangerous reality and have seen the future to note we may head the way of the past Rwandan genocide if something is not done.

This is why, beyond words, Yorubas and their leaders have been the most active annd vocal agitators for regional autonomy over the past 6 to 8 years.

We know those who will not think twice in concluding that ‘invading’ the land of others is their right once they run out of resources and opportunities in their land.

This is why I think only foolish, ignorant and very myopic Yorubas will not bear the pains of the reforms Tinubu has initiated to then go and play into the hands of Igbos and Northerners who desperately want a retention of the ‘one Nigeria’ status quo that potentially grants them control over all corners of Nigeria, through political power, rather than their own region alone.

I am a lagosian and I am always angry whenever all these people from Ogun, oyo, ekiti state comes to rule our own territory and still go back to rule their own.

I have never seen a lagosian ruling in Ogun state before even as it is then closest to lagos. Same with a lagosian ruling in oyo, yet these same Ogun and oyo state people always say we are one, we are Yorubas yet they can never allow another person from another state rule in their own place.

I hate the hypocrisy if my people cry see them below saying lagos is their land and yet they won't allow a lagosian to rule their own lands.
