Please what is the sole purpose of the use of foreign exchange is it not to aid import of raw material and equipment for production and also import of goods and services we don't have in the country which the latter is more important as this will aid production for export to bring in more forex.Bit are these people getting the fx from banks the answer is NO.They have to go get it from non authorized BDC,s how wont the economy collapse?

Seriously, we don't have enough forex.

I could lie to myself, and say that we have tons of forex, but we don't. And a key sign that we don't have enough forex is 1) we have to take loans and more loans 2) naira has been on a steady fall since the 1970's.

At the end, Nigeria needs to be more productive. It goes without saying.

The key is banning crypto and BDC. They're money launderers.

Just go look at the number of useless BDC which the useless Emefiele and his goons made to siphon Nigeria money 🙄

As for crypto, if not for the fact that the crypto are sabotaging Nigeria currency, I would have said these non registered crypto should be left to teach lesson to some stupid Nigerians who thought they were sabotaging Nigeria. Wasn't it a non registered MMM on the other day who ran away with the money of some foolish Nigerians sometimes ago? Lol. These foolish Nigerians ended up sabotaging themselves in the end.

We keep taking loans because most of it are looted by politicians and none has been prosecuted for it. The question begging for answer is how do BDCs get their fx? Is it not through the bank they get their fx? So when the government are ready, they know what to do otherwise, let them keep running around chasing shadows.

Looting is an issue, but overall we have a serious revenue shortage problem

That is why corruption should be taken seriously in Nigeria. It is not that they are not stealing but the kind of stealing they are doing is like taking 2000 from someone with 5000 naira in his account .

But right now, we are earning the kind of money that can sustain a nation of 1-5 million people. Not a nation of 220 million people.

Revenue is not our problem, our problem is mismanagement. Until we manage our resources effectively, even if we earn trillions of $$$, we will still have nothing to show for it.
