All the candidates are from Edo state. I smell tribalism since the criteria to winning election in Edo is based on ethnicity.

Even Yorubas in Kogi did not go this low. They voted for Ododo over Dino Melaiye who is their kinsman.

Labour Party made a big mistake by selecting a candidate that is not from Esan. Since 1999, Esan man has not been governor. This is why Gov. Obaseki decided to go against his deputy, Philip Shaibu, to support the emergence of Asue Ighodalo.

It is "Esan lokan" this time, nothing for LP. Battle is between PDP and APC.

I am fully Obidient but I can not vote a candidate that is not Esan.
