NL doesn't use any recommendation algorithms, I doubt it even uses any kind of algorithm at all. Topics you see on the front page are put there by the super moderators. Now, you may see the trending section and think they have to be using some sort of algorithm, but the logic is just that posts are ranked by how recent their comments are and how new and regular. |
