What is happening is very good for Nigeria. Infact i hope it will sky rocket to like #40,000 or #50,000. Instead of people to put in their all into creating local alternatives which in a long term will be beneficial to this country. People are using their energy to steal and destroy. It tells you the mindset of a people who are not ready to be successful.

Let the prices keep going up. Una go get sense by force by fire.

It is a pitiable irony that Nigerians buy Milo at exorbitant prices when we grow the raw material (cocoa) in the country.

Milo is a brand of cocoa powder, and cocoa powder is a byproduct of the chocolate-making process.

The chocolate industry is worth over $100 billion, but the government is only concerned about oil money.

Truth be told , Tinubu is a dead brain. I recently bought a 2009 toyota camry from US and the cost is almost 12m. Bidding cost is 3,500 dollars and shipping fees is 1,400 dollars which is already 5k dollars which exchange rate of 1,600 naira. Clearing the car is 3.4 million naira.

I said it here in December after doing a rough analysis on where the value of USD will be in 8 years (2031) after Jagaban is done. My overall calculation is at least 2500/$ in 2027 and $4500 by 2031

https://www.nairaland.com/7937467/japa-what-still-waiting#127430573

What's happening to Nigeria is great economic sabotage led by Buhari and Tinubu is continuing from where he stopped.

How can Buhari print 30trn naira without budgetary approval to spend? Those monies printed without accountability are what's coming up on the exchange window to convert to USD. Tinubu according to verifiable records have done 8 trillion naira already and he's not stopping to keep the federation going.

The impact is expensive imports causing cost push inflation. Once the value of naira depreciates again, that 20,000 you are seeing will increase again

I think it has to do with the store you visited. I just checked Jumia now and I saw 800 grams of milo for 4,800 naira.
