A quick one. Let me not bored you. Due to the hike in price of gas and kerosene. I couldn't afford it as a student. So I decided to use firewood gathered behind the hostel gate to make a fire at my backyard.

Although, I studied the hall administrator (hall administrators are incharge of hostel allocation and maintenance in my school) and found that they normally close for the day by 3:30pm. So, I waited till 5:10 to set up. I started cooking a sharp Garo Garo rice.

Before I could finish parboiling the rice, the hall administrator just traced me to the back. I learnt it was the guy in room B2 that alerted them.

Now, they want to revoke my BedSpace. What should I do please? I begged him but he was adamant. I am just confused now. I had to sleep in my other friends that stays off campus place.

Hot plate is prohited in the hostel. Although sneaking it through is feasible but very rare to see who is willing to give it to you.

On a second thought, we have been having an epileptic power supply. It's even difficult getting light to read at night.

Nigerian university school life is always like a punishment, they're so corrupt to the vein, especially the state and federal school, they see new students as fools because they're young and naive. Just stay at your friends place for a while.

cos I picture a scenerio like yours happening in Adeleke hall.

No big deal.. just go and beg them..

You have to apologise seriously to him. That's a risky thing to do.
Someone who's not careful can burn down the building.
Why can't engineering students develop solar cooker? I have seen some simple set up online.

Tell him some people might hear about his stance and you may not be able to manage the outcome of how they'd react in your defence. Plus tell him you have also begged his child to talk to him. If he is wise, he will drop all charges, e get why.

Maybe you can talk to people the hall administrator respects a lot to help beg him on your behalf and you have to promise not to do it again.
