Role: Junior Web Content Marketer | Full Time - Remote (Nigeria)

As our Junior Web Content Marketer, you will work closely with the Digital Marketing Lead to create & deliver successful initiatives that support the business growth.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to build on their existing skill set – by joining an expanding team, there will be multiple opportunities in the future to develop either within this role, or to move into different roles within the team.

Responsibilities

● Regular writing, editing, publishing, and promoting of SEO content for company website.
● Develop content marketing strategies and set long/short-term goals.
● Undertake content marketing initiatives to achieve business targets.
● Monitor content performance across all digital media platforms and analyze web
traffic metrics.
● Generating, researching, and pitching ideas for posts.
● Researching competitors, target market, and relevant keywords for our digital marketing strategies
● Promoting new posts using advertisements, emails, social media, and other methods to alert and attract new readers.
● Inviting other bloggers, experts, or other notable guests to contribute content to the webpage.
● Creating and requesting backlinks to increase website rating
● Generating appropriate visual content for posts
● Writing copy for social media/Ads when necessary
● Making sure all content follows the best SEO practices and our company’s style guidelines.

Requirements

● Blogging and SEO experience is a huge plus.
● Proven work experience as a Content marketer/Blogger.
● Proficient in SEMrush, Google Docs, and WordPress or other Content
Management Systems.
● Ability to predict audience preferences with an editorial mindset.
● Hands-on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics.
● Keeping to set deadlines is a must
● Project management skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
● No qualifications needed but having a BSc/HND/OND degree is a plus.
