APGA NATIONAL CHAIRMAN SALUTES NIGERIAN WOMEN ON INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

In celebration of International Women's Day, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, has expressed admiration for the outstanding virtues and contributions of Nigerian women in fostering peace and development in the country. Recognizing the strength, resilience, and unwavering determination displayed by women across Nigeria, Barr. Ezeokenwa highlighted their pivotal roles in various aspects of society.

International Women's Day, designated by the United Nations, is celebrated annually on March 8 as a focal point in the women's rights movement. It focuses on issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence against women. The theme for 2024 is 'Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress,' emphasizing the need to address economic disempowerment among women.

In his statement, the APGA National Chairman emphasized the integral role played by women in driving social progress, economic prosperity, and fostering inclusive communities. He reiterated APGA's commitment to advancing the cause of women in Nigeria.

Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa expressed deep admiration for the remarkable achievements of Nigerian women across various fields and underscored the importance of acknowledging and appreciating these accomplishments in driving positive change and progress.
