This Erisco matter had shown how backward Nigerians can be. A young mother boys uses a Tomato product for the first, expresses concern about it, later says "it is killing people"

My grouse is the preference given to Erisco by the the security agents. How do you detain a mother, fly her to Abuja, intimidate her and even try to bully her into writting a confession? This is a clear case of biase because I know they would not do it to Erisco

If the woman has commited any offense, arrest and charge to court let the court decide the matter. But when you invade a persons space, arrest them, fly them all the way from Lagos to Abuja, detain and threaten her, all at the behest of ERISCO, then that's terrible

It's a case of a wealthy businessman using his resources to intimidate someone less fortunate than himself, and that's despicable.

This has nothing to do with ethnicity. From what I read on Twitter, the Erisco guy is a legendary bully who has been intimidating people including his kinsmen and family members. He's known for bullying people using the police. In his hometown in Anambra state, they avoid him like a plague.

If it were to be another company, I'm sure the matter wouldn't escalate to this.
