There is no sense in this at all. What happened to MTN could happen to any other network, including Glo. Glo's network is not powered by BAT in aso rock. It came all the way from the UK. Any bloody terrorist can attack at any point.

This man is beginning to lose his senses for real.

If only glo could spend less on their celebrities and use that to strengthen their network. I would have preferred glo

Exactly, those things are irrelevant. They've endorsed almost all the Nigerian celebrities.

Did you not read his comment?
He’s talking about buying Nigeria. The question is this: is 9mobile not wholly Nigerian?
Answer that please.
You've lost me. I'm just trying to find out if 9mobile is involved in the current wahala or not.

You know very well that starting as etisalat, 9mobile is a company that was rescued from bankruptcy. I know you are referring to the exit of the UAE investor but you cannot discount their influence on its foundation.

I don't even know if they have cleared that loan that put them in crisis. It is natural not to put them in this conversation.

You know better than what you said earlier about Reno making no sense. I may have sounded too hard on you, but I don't like the fact that people hate Reno simply because he is not following the herds.

He has his own issues. Even I, before reading the full thread, I wanted to criticize him. But I saw he made some valid points

Thank you for correcting yourself.

My point was that if he was looking at “buy Nigeria”, he should not have discounted 9mobile completely, knowing its present Nigerian background. Those who go to equity must have clean hands. How has Reno suddenly become an apostle of buy Nigeria? He must relocate permanently home to qualify for what he is asking for.

He was a member of PDP under GEJ. What stopped him from getting his then government from doing the needful.

All we ask for is a better country, where life is better and easier for the citizens.

People have always complained about glo network

Anyway Glo has always been my main line from time immemorial. I have 2 glo Sims, my main line in Nokia torchlight and another in my android for browsing.

They still have lots of customers if not they would have run out of business since.

We that are using glo are still using glo.

The thumbs down the GLO network get online are unfair if we have to be honest. The telecom company and her services ain't as bad as people portray it to be and moreso that they offer about the cheapest data and voice offers in the country. GLO have always been my goto network for data and they don't disappoint. The network is speedy and bouyant for my daily needs.

PS: EXCEPT 9mobile (that I haven't tried), other network are equally working fine but they don't best my GLO, the more reason it's my numero uno sim card. Many usually attribute that to my location though but sorry in advance, CAN'T TELL YOU WHERE.

It is good to see that we can have an exchange without the usual insults so characteristic of this forum.

On the matter, like I mentioned before, he may be taking cognizance of their peculiar business trajectory and circumstances.

Then again, everyone cannot be in Nigeria. Even Simon Ekpa that is fueling ESN is not in Nigeria.

Reno is well travelled and this helps him bring some interesting perspectives to a broad range of intellectual discourse. He is quite intelligent. Let's give him his flowers.

There is no wahala. We are responding to Reno’s comment about the telecoms companies and buying Nigeria only.

I only asked if 9mobile is no longer a Nigerian organization just like Glo.

9mobile is still a rubbish telecom. When MTN started misbehaving since yesterday, 9mobile couldn't come save the day.

Whenever MTN is having any network issue, 9mobile must surely join them. And you will be wondering if 9mobile is tied to MTN network.

They really need to do better.

Agreed. But my challenge with him is some of his comments that appear hypocritical.

When we talk about Nigeria not producing anything, we can begin to look at the Shagari regime, when the ruination started. OBJ as a military head of state, handed over a very vibrant economy in 1979, with industries functioning very well. Corrupt NPN politicians embezzled as much as they could until they were swept aside by IBB and co.

This “buy Nigeria” story will never be effective, if the President and his people, members of the National Assembly, including Reno himself, continue purchasing their needs from outside mthe country. For starters, the Only prudocunmo
