I hate Igbo, yet while his fellow Igbos are trying to destroy Eric Umeofia, I stood for him and his brand, without asking for or collecting a dime, and encouraged Nigerians to patronise Erisco products.

Do you know why I did that? It is not because he is innocent, even though he is. It is because he has an estimated 4000 workers, who are overwhelmingly of Igbo origin, and I believe it is wicked to destroy his company and render them jobless.

Stop letting your emotions control you. That is why some of you hate yourselves and accuse others of hating you. Do not do or say everything your mind tells you to say or do. And most importantly, learn to love yourselves!

Nothing will ever make a Hausa man mobilise against Dangote. No Yoruba will ever mobilise against Globacom. But who is mobilising against Erisco?

If such a thing happened in Yoruba land, elders would intervene, and the offender would apologise, and the matter would die a natural death. But people without a solid diplomatic culture always think wars are better than words!
