Enugu State Government recently acquired a cutting-edge Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) surveying instrument to enhance the operations of the Survey Extra-Ministerial Department.

Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, recognizing the importance of technological advancement, spearheaded the procurement, aiming to boost the efficiency of the surveying processes within the department.

According to reports, the primary function of this state-of-the-art GNSS surveying instrument is to expedite survey work, ensuring not only speed but also accuracy and reliability. In an interview with newsmen on Thursday in Enugu, the Acting Surveyor General of Enugu State, Surv. Chime Justus Uchenna expressed his conviction that the new equipment is an answer to the prayers of the department.
