If Soldiers or anyone at all, be it civilian or armed forces, are killed, the right thing to do is to go after those who committed the attack. For Soldiers to take the law into their hands and attack communities, after the perpetrators are long gone, is an exercise in stupidity. It is illegal, it is unconstitutional and it is a crime.

Let me sound a note of warning to all those who support this illegality by the Nigerian Army. It will only take someone injuring a Soldier in your neighbourhood for you to come back and find out that your house has been burnt and your loved ones killed by the Nigerian Army

You might just be resting in your house, not knowing that someone killed a Soldier in your neighbourhood, and Soldiers will invade your house and kill you for what you know nothing about.

The Nigerian Army must be condemned for carrying out reprisal attacks, and all Soldiers involved must be arrested and brought to book.

This nonsense only happens in Southern Nigeria. Boko haram, ISWAP and armed bandits have killed more Soldiers in the North than anywhere else. Never have I heard that any community was attacked in the North. Two years ago, a serving Major General in the Nigerian Army, General Hassan Ahmed, was ambushed and killed in the North, the community it happened was not attacked

But if General Hassan Ahmed had been killed in the South, the community it happened would have been wiped out by the Nigerian Army

Odi, Obigbo, Orlu, Awo Mmamma, Izombe and now Okuama. How long will this continue?

Buhari was busy recruiting pardoned Boko Haram Terrorist members into the army and other security forces. Now this is the result.
