I wanted to open account as was directed at my work place since they wanted to use same bank for all staff. The account officer said I would be required to quote a code generated from my BVN. Is it okay? No bank has ever asked me this during account opening. Should I be worried? |

deltateam:What do you mean by a code generated from your bvn? I assume you mean OTP. If I am right you should be worried cos they are not supposed to ask for more than your bvn, OTPs are using generated to update sensitive content or authenticate a request. You should have asked why they needed it |

Didn't they give you a form for account opening to fill.there's a section for bvn and if you don't know your bvn, there's a code for you to generate your bvn. |
