Imo State will likely be the second state to enjoy 24/7 electricity.

The state is getting ready to commission their power plant which will power 7 LGAs round-the-clock.

Imo State is the FUTURE.

The Seplat $750 million and Shell $3.2 billion ANOH gas plants will be commissioned this year.

The Seplat and Shell gas plants will produce a combined 900 MMscfd which is equivalent to 6.3 million tonnes per annum (MTPA). So, Imo alone will produce 10.5X the current Nigerian domestic gas production capacity (600,000 TPA) and 4.5X Nigerian annual gas usage (1.4 MTPA). It means that Imo will produce in one year the amount of gas Nigeria consumes in 4 and half years.

Imo State is now the SECOND biggest state GDP in Nigeria, with an economy that's almost 2x larger than Ogun.

Where is the power plant located….is Imo state the owner…..and if it does exist, did Uzodinma gov’t start its construction? Also, isn’t Imo part of Emeka Offors’ EEDC, or do they equally have the same ringfenced agreement GEOMETRIC has that allows them operate outside the choking control of EEDC!?

There's this perception that hope didn't go to school.
And there's nothing that pains an average Nigerian than seeing an illiterate perform more than professors and Doctors grin

Propaganda!

I read the nonsense you wrote and could not see any power plant. Your post is about gas plant. What is the name of the power plant? Owners? Location?

Imo state is an oil producing state and they have no reason not to develop properly.
It's the duty of the governor to perform, he's not doing any a favour.

Imo was actually the first state in nigeria to build it's own power plant in the 80s during the time of mbakwe but it was abandoned by subsequent administrations I don't know if they have quietly refurbished the power plant no news about the renovation in the media space I doubt this news.
