"With the permissive will, you may get to your destination. But not without scars."

The perfect will of God is God's preordained plan for your life. It includes details such as when to be born, when to die, what ministry to pursue, kind of person to marry, gifts of the Holy spirit to operate etc.

According to Living Praise Chapel, Nanaimo the Permissive will is that which is granted by God to satisfy the desires in the hearts of believers. This usually occurs when there is a desire or craving by believers for that which is outside God’s pre - ordained design.

Usually we fall into the permissive will when we don't fully trust, have not fully surrendered or still live with a superior flesh.
An example is 1 Sam 8. The people of God insisted they wanted a King, and God made it clear that Israel had rejected Yahweh as its king. God then gave Israel kings, but it didn't take long to see that Israel made a terrible mistake. The kings of Israel led Israel in the path of idolatry, death and destruction. Israel as a nation could never rise above the spirituality of its own Kings.

In the second instance we go to the book of Numbers 32:1. Three tribes of Israel; Mannassah, Reuben and Gad refused to take land portion from the God apportioned land of Israel, instead they took from what is today now part of Jordan. They did this because they felt the land they found was better for their cattles. Generations later, the descendants of these tribes suffered immensely from marauding attackers. By 1 Sam 11:2 a marauding attacker had removed one eye from every person who lived in those communities.

I believe God let Israel's land start after crossing the river Jordan (west) so that the river can serve as a natural protection, which an invading force will need to first cross. Thus eliminating any element of surprise in warfare.

ENDEAVOUR TO SEE WHAT GOD IS SEEING.

Kenneth Hagin once shared a story where he was asked to come pray for a 70 year old man who was dying on the hospital bed. Kenneth Hagin got to the hospital and laid hands upon the sick man.

Immediately, he felt his hand moved away from the man's head. So he tried again twice. Each time his hands moved away from the sick man's head.
So he went to prayer to ask God what was going on. And the Holy Spirit explained to Kenneth Hagin.

"Over the past thirty years I have waited on him(the sick man). He has never lived two weeks [uprightly]. But now he has rededicated his life to Me. This is the best time for him to come home."
Hagin understood God's wisdom. God was recalling this person home as an act of his intervention, love and mercy.

This time, Hagin went back to the man and lifted him in prayer. Over midnight, the man passed on to glory singing Hymns to the Lord.
We see a story play out in the book of Isaiah, God told Isaiah to tell Hezekiah about his impending death. Hezekiah prayed that this conclusion be reversed. And truly God added Hezekiah 15 more years!

The part of this story that is often not discussed was the impact of Hezekiah's extra 15 years. Two years after Hezekiah's sickness had passed, he gave birth to Manassah, the most evil king to ever rule Israel. And the kingship of Manassah brought Israel into severe judgement.

This is not to say we can't pray to recover from sickness. However, the Holy Spirit will always alert you when what you ask is going to have negative consequences alongside.

These are ridiculous lies you lot feed yourselves and those whom you rule over with your many lies. The Will of God has always been God's Law and His only mandate to His people has always been obedience to His Law — every teaching and commandment contained in His Law — and nothing else. Following these ideas which have nothing to do with that which God has set down, all while using His name, goes to reveal that not only do you know nothing of Him but your desire has never been to be of Him from the beginning. undecided
