THE PUBLIC SERVANTS CALLED POLICE OFFICERS (the public service called policing) _Seiyefa John✍️🎬 Police officers are called public servants abroad, because they are truly the servants of the citizenry. They are obligated to serve us because we employed them, and we are paying them. How? We pay tax to our government, with our taxes the government employ the Police (our public servants) to serve us. The employment tasks of a Police officer is to, 'protect lives and properties and maintain peace, law and order in our society.' But it is not so in this part of the world. In Africa, Police officers lord themselves over citizens like they are some kind of preferred class of citizens while we the masses are 2nd class low life humans. Our police officers know little of how to do good. They were taught well on how to intimidate us and apply brutal force even when it is not necessary, but not how to practice fairness. In this continent, the Police is lord while masses are dogs. This is my narrative. It may not go well with you, if so, please drop your perception. I am eager to learn otherwise. 🙏 Pls subscribe to my channel to see the video I have waiting for you. https://www.youtube.com/@Samjohncreation |
