By virtue of his role, he managed the operational budget and had access to the company's operational funds, which he misappropriated up to the tune of N20,000,000 and used the embezzled money to enroll into Robert Gordon University and finance his family's migration to the United Kingdom.


Gideon Okoli didn’t just embezzle the operational funds but also sold the company’s operational car (TOYOTA COROLLA) which was in his care whilst working for the organization. The notorious criminal also collaborated with the company's software engineer to delete all operational records from the company database.


Gideon Okoli had earlier defamed the company and its executives in several posts published on his social media pages.
