Here is my take on that, Jesus said in the scriptures that many false prophets and false christ will come in the future and also by their fruits you will know them, as for why was he allowed to mistranslate the bible, it is because we re still in the period of time were Satan is allowed to exercise his power and control over men, this power will end at christ coming.
