Beloveth child of God, do you chasten your wards when they err or you pamper them in the name of love?
Be watchful.

In this generation of ours where parental love is misinterpreted to ‘allow me to do whatsoever I like, if you love me’ in the hearts of our children; with nations equally giving children certain rights and privileges to stand against their parents.

You have to realize that chastening is an indelible part of love.
In God’s bid to make the best out of us as a loving Father, he sometimes allow us go through tough times, hot rebuke and scourging, but with a smiling face behind the disciplinary strokes.

Hebrews 12:6
For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 22:15
Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
Hebrews 12:11
Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

A brother in the Lord, Barrister Esel S. Omeghara, once said; “If you don't pay for your child's discipline, then be ready to pay for that child's lawyer.”

Beloveth child of God, let me remind you that no human law can excuse you from the standard of God.
