This is not a new thing... It usually happens whenever the UK stifles its student passport laws. Most of their university departments rely on foreign students' school fee to function and fund their departments... Foreign students pay like times 3 of what local students pay... Local students even use student loans. It's the foreign students that pay real money... Even their shopping malls also feel the heat whenever foreign students influx reduce.... Another government will come and relax the student visa law... That's how it has always been. It's nothing new |

Asonaijaaso: This matter is on individual basis. Some Nigerians are using their masters degree for top paying prestigious jobs in the UK as we speak! Truth is many Nigerians are inadequately informed about the UK job market, and most just follow the crowd. |

2Radii: Absolutely correct! There are business men and women in Nigeria that are counting millions of naira, every single day. This country is a land flowing with milk and honey, and there are opportunities to make it big all around us. Just open your eyes, look around, and ask yourself: what value can I add to my environment? |

When they reverse certain policy thinking they're rendering help to others and not helping themselves, too, this is what it leads to. |

Asonaijaaso:They do not actually understand what it means to be Educated. Many people around the world expecially Africans and most especially Nigerians think the sate of being Educated is when you become a "graduate" whom have accuired any of the high and low ACADEMICAL TITTLES. What a show of illiteracy to think that way when actually the state of being educated is becoming Logical, tactical and technical in the way you think and actuate your thoughts because you as a common Human have no real Authority over the Money you earn in this global system tuned to the benefits of the Private Families that controls the Natural and human Resources of the Nation you live in. Self development is the real EDUCATION SYSTEM. Never can you know all things in detail, but at least, know few things about many things generally to stay afloat away from the tide of Slavery Networks which the Government or Private Families Group have setup. When you become truly educated, you will understand how this world is Organized against you to maintain you as a slave in series of dimensions and THE WAY OUT OF IT PERMANENTLY. If you know, you know. |

darediamond: Wow, i didnt know we have people as smart as you here on Nairaland....You gave a very apt description. Kudos to you. I am very sure you over 30 years old. It takes a lot of maturity to understand the game they play. Nigerians pay money to study oil and gas masters and then work as a lowly paid health aide earning peanuts, while the british people earn commission on home sales as a realtor and earn millions. They will now saddle the immigrant with rent ,bills and mortgage interest. Nobody can ever get wealthy carrying those 3 load together. |

huptin:you just gave a good definition of living in a prison, imagine every average Nigerians living in Lagos, the overpopulation will kill the state. So what happened to the poor and the less privileged? They should kpai ? |

2Radii:yes you have good plans and maybe you succeed. Just avoid kidnappers route as your carry out your duties . God be with you |

sokera:Amen in Jesus Name... But nonetheless, kidnappers (hybrid(local +foreign)) plenty for this area ooh, u just have to use sense, don't be loud, play low, where slippers when u need to wear shoes and keep praying for God's protection. One will maneuver them through that |

sokera: Read what i wrote very slowly....i was talking about the middle class not the poor..fortunately or unfortunately....the poor have very limited options ... apart from going back to the village,,,only the middle class can afford to travel abroad. And i used Lagos as an example...virtually all state capitals in Nigeria are now ok, i have just moved round southern Nigeria and i visited most of the capitals...all are very ok, to be frank...i have travelled outside Nigeria too, i have visited even the US and UK, to be honest Nigerian cities especially the capital cities are not as bad as we paint them. Worthy of mention : Ibadan, Akure, Enugu, Owerri, Benin, PH, Asaba etc they arent all bad...we are not there yet but we are getting better. |
Re: UK Varsities To Layoff Workers, As Enrolment By Nigerians, Others Dwindle by sokera: 11:43am On Apr 10 |
huptin:we are saying the same thing and the poor will end up in the hands of the bandits or kidnappers… so Nigeria is at the state of war it’s not liveable |

sokera: I agree to an extent with you but those places too have their own security challenges...the difference is that they confront it head on....this desperation to leave Nigeria at all cost has made many Nigerians to become slaves abroad...if every Nigerian works half as hard as we do abroad honestly Nigeria will witness massive development within a short time. But Nigerians have been brain washed to think that nothing good can come out of their country therefore they would rather slave abroad than be honoured at home. |

huptin:a lot of good things can come out of Nigeria but the truth is not every one will live in Nigeria, some don’t have the mental ability to continue with the bad life… imagine the stress of getting electricity? Imagine the bad roads, imagine police treat ppl,60 percent of branded food and drinks are fake, rat even have longer life span than Nigerians, ppl just die anyhow… my brother I have travel to over 9 countries I can categorically tell you living in Nigeria is close to living in hell . But we shall remain positive |

2Radii:do you see what I was saying ? You see the situation about jr pope? Nigeria is hell, you need extra miles to survive |
Re: UK Varsities To Layoff Workers, As Enrolment By Nigerians, Others Dwindle by 2Radii: 10:37am On Apr 11 |
sokera: That situation was preventable bro 1. They were not on life jackets which is wrong 2. The sailor lost attention, got carried away while on top speed, who does that?? |
Re: UK Varsities To Layoff Workers, As Enrolment By Nigerians, Others Dwindle by sokera: 7:45pm On Apr 11 |
2Radii:that is Nigeria factor.. I live in UK you can never board a boat without life jacket, secondly that guy sailing the boat is not a qualified sailor just a boy in the area… such can never be allowed in a well sane society… living in Nigeria is close to living in hell … |
Re: UK Varsities To Layoff Workers, As Enrolment By Nigerians, Others Dwindle by 2Radii: 8:56pm On Apr 11 |
sokera:Living in Nigeria is not just for the beginners UK is a developed country but the regimental system of living there discouraged me from making the move to go there |
Re: UK Varsities To Layoff Workers, As Enrolment By Nigerians, Others Dwindle by sokera: 7:35am On Apr 12 |
2Radii:yes a lot of Nigerians can not survive in a developed country like UK because Nigerians lacks discipline, if you just want to have fun and no work then UK is not for you, the only reason Nigeria will never work is because the youthful generation are just having fun and not doing what makes a country progress… go to countries like China,Japan,Germany etc the youths are in the producing industries but Nigeria youth are in the entertainment industry… so Nigeria will do well for ppl that want to have fun and others countries will work for those that want to make progress 1 Like |
