If so, how much younger? And you can interpret "date" any way you like, from hook-up to serious relationship. |

No, I wouldn't date Mr. Cork. |

This has been discussed so many times on this board. A quick search would help |
Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by ektbear: 2:51am On Nov 17, 2011 |
by that metric, almost nothing would ever be posted on this forum. Since it has already been discussed before. . |

tpia@: What do you mean? |
Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by tpia5: 5:05am On Nov 17, 2011 |
i mean he started off in this manner. running after older women than him until his crappiness was fully revealed. but with a user id named pleep i guess the joke's on whoever thought he was a human being to begin with. |
Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by Nobody: 5:13am On Nov 17, 2011 |
Yes, of course I would. To me, age is nothing but a number. If we respect each other and have feelings for each other, then a number won't change any of that. People don't fall for one another because of the age difference between them; it's irrelevant. |
Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by ektbear: 5:35am On Nov 17, 2011 |
tpia@: Lol. He seemed like a good dude to me. I guess you've had a bad experience. Anyway nothing wrong with having a fetish for older women lol. ogugua88: What of the practical aspects? E.g. kids, marriage? I guess the problem when the woman is older (say by 4 or 5 years) is that her time-frame for getting married and having kids is going to be much shorter than the guy's (at least in principle.) |
Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by tpia5: 5:37am On Nov 17, 2011 |
ekt_bear: yes, he's a good dude and i just had a bad experience. |
Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by Nobody: 5:44am On Nov 17, 2011 |
ekt_bear: Marriage isn't necessary to me. It's not something I plan on doing. If it happens, it happens. If not, then it doesn't lol. I don't want to have kids until I'm about 30 anyway, so, in my case, it'll work out. |
Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by ektbear: 5:44am On Nov 17, 2011 |
I don't know enough either way to conclude, you may be right. Anyway, for you, how many years younger (if any)? |
Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by Nobody: 5:46am On Nov 17, 2011 |
ekt bear, I hope your gf aint older than you. We dont do that abomination where we come from o. Just saying. |
Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by Nobody: 5:49am On Nov 17, 2011 |
^^^^ A few of my aunties are older than their husbands, and their marriages are fine. I don't see how or why it would be considered an abomination. |
Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by ektbear: 5:49am On Nov 17, 2011 |
ogugua88: Hrm. Radical feminist? Never gotten this vibe from you before. Also, won't your guy be upset at bolded? Ileke-IdI:It is funny though. Evidently my grandfather's wife (my grandmother) was like 2-3 years older than him. So isn't quite true. |
Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by Nobody: 5:52am On Nov 17, 2011 |
^^So your gf is older than you? ekt bear, you know that's back then, we didnt keep records of our age and it wasnt much of a big deal. My aunt made up a birthday for herself because such records were not kept. @Ogugua Different opinions then. |
Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by tpia5: 5:56am On Nov 17, 2011 |
i dont know what the culture is where pleep comes from, but in yorubaland in general and ekiti in particular, young men do not run after older women. if you want to be a radical who wants to revolutionize that sort of stuff, then i guess your leg suppose to waka outside. |
Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by ektbear: 6:00am On Nov 17, 2011 |
Ileke-IdI:Eh, she is. By about 1.5 years or so. But I dunno if I should say "gf" any more lol. It is a long story (not for this thread.) 40s and 50s? Naw my folks kept records even in the 1910s, 1920s and such. |
Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by ektbear: 6:02am On Nov 17, 2011 |
tpia@: Tpia, I am not sure why you think I am asking for myself. This thread has nothing to do with me, was just a general commentary. Thanks for your concern, though (I'm not being sarcastic, I genuinely appreciate it.) |
Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by Nobody: 6:05am On Nov 17, 2011 |
Yes, I would and do date younger men. If we " click" I dont worry about the age. |
Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by Nobody: 6:05am On Nov 17, 2011 |
ekt_bear: Kept what? What records? If I remembered correctly, birth certificates in Ekiti start became "required" beginning at the latest period of my mother's generation. Correct me tho. Yea, let her be an "ex", find someone younger than you. But for another thread |
Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by Nobody: 6:06am On Nov 17, 2011 |
ekt_bear: No, I'm not a radical feminist lol. Are men that aren't in a rush to marry considered radicals? I don't need that kind of formality, personally, and as far as I'm considered, marriage and dating are the same thing these days. If I ever cross those waters, however, three people will attend my wedding. Myself, the man, and the person performing the wedding |
Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by ektbear: 6:24am On Nov 17, 2011 |
Ileke-IdI: Hrm I dunno if they were required, but both of my grandfathers had 'em. You might be right though, maybe not mandatory? I'll ask around sometime. ogugua88: Hrm, interesting. Btw nice dodge of the implicit question I asked. |

Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by ElmA1(f): 8:41am On Nov 17, 2011 |

Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by Flashaldrin(m): 8:49am On Nov 17, 2011 |
ElmA, :I like older woman cos of their maturity. Any girl of same age with me or younger i often find immature and i quickly get bored. |

Re: For The Women: Would You Date A Younger Man? by LongOne1(m): 2:09pm On Nov 17, 2011 |
I read somewhere that some women experience reduction in sexual desire after menopause due to oestrogen deficiency and loss of libido. That is one of the disadvantages of such a union, from a male point of view. |
