Oga at the top go reloot the loot … so what’s their crime now? Since governments are busy looting our money to white man country, what do they expect us to do? Fold our hands and eat our legs. Nigerians are all mad

'Crude' not 'PMS'. It could be the quoted price.

If oil theft will be reduced by 80% from current levels, dollar rate will fall. However, there are too many interests in the business. You see that attribute called patriotism - majority of Nigerians lack it. We jump on every opportunity to steal. It's no surprise that we have been rolling in a non-expanding circle for many decades. The problem of Nigeria is Nigeriansm. If me, you, & them decide to turn over a new leaf, our quality of life will improve.
By the way, make wuna help me celebrate FTC. It's not easy to be here. It takes grit, consistency and dedication to achieve this feat. Lol. Happy Iftar

If 33,000ltrs =3billion naira as at crude price rate today, then this means that our government is not telling the truth about the Nigeria crude oil revenue all this while.

Crude oil is more expensive that its individual derivatives.

With just 20% reduction in the volume of oil theft, Nigerian economy will bounce back.

Its funny how news of suspected youth that stole small money is paraded with full names and video clips. And when you hear of notorious and well known catels and pablo - real criminal and looters of national treasure have blind suspects while unfortunate youths crime news has both name, age, address, parent, village, location, video and social media handle and even blood group.

Law only for the downtrading!!!

Is it the same CRUDE the Minister of state for OIL'&gas said there is scarcity of crude? That Nigeria don't have enough crude to meet up with demand from upcoming refineries. But we have enough CRUDE to be stolen by the high and mighty? Foolish thieves.
Re: Navy Hands 8 Suspects With N3 Billion Worth Of Stolen Crude To EFCC by spacechuks(m): 3:53am On Apr 04
The north said the crude belongs to them,

The northern navy arrested locals who collected crude from their creeks and handed them to northern efcc,

The government is busy stealing with biro right from abacha time,

The government is busy impoverishing her citizen thru bad policies and wicked politicking,

Nigeria is gone, not redeemable,

Best is to divide this contraption, every aboki to his kettle,

Stop the drilling of crude oil, stop polluting our environment, we need our land for farming and water for fishing,

Stop the northern occupation of our land

The kind of corruption in this Nigeria ehn. I experienced something today. You see, all of my car tyres are brand new, hence I don't have problems with any for months. I have this vulcanizer who have not touched my tyres for a very long time until today. I had a flat tyre, and so I called the vulcanizer. He sent one of his apprentice instead, a very young boy of around 12 years old. So, when he finished I gave him to give his oga's fee of #1,000 plus a bonus of another #1,000 to his oga, because it's been so long since he touched my tyres then I gave the boy #200 dash. Guess what he gave his boss?! #500. While he kept the rest. I got to know because I asked his boss. grin

The dollar issue is a function of demand and supply. Currently, our supply can't satisfy our demand. Meaning that many manufacturers can't get good-rated dollars to buy raw materials and then process in Nigeria. So, if we were getting say $1b from crude oil sales when the production is 1m barrels, we'll get $0.5b with 50% increase in production. Besides that, FG will get more from royalties and taxes. Again, oil companies will import more equipment thus more customs duties. More jobs too for contractors. A whole lot of benefits.

Haven't you wondered that despite Saudi Arabia been a top importer, its currency has been stable against the dollar for several years? That's because of their high production. They produce an average of 11m barrels daily(at least 8 times that of ours grin). So they have enough dollars to whet their appetite for imported products.

I hope you get my explanation.
