Is Time an Illusion?
The concepts of time and change may emerge from a universe that, at root, is utterly static

As you read this sentence, you probably think that this moment—right now—is what is happening. The present moment feels special. It is real. However much you may remember the past or anticipate the future, you live in the present. Of course, the moment during which you read that sentence is no longer happening. This one is. In other words, it feels as though time flows, in the sense that the present is constantly updating itself.

We have a deep intuition that the future is open until it becomes present and that the past is fixed. As time flows, this structure of fixed past, immediate present and open future gets carried forward in time. This structure is built into our language, thought and behavior. How we live our lives hangs on it.

One hour on Earth is 0.0026 seconds in space.

Thus, upon calculation we find that one hour on Earth is equivalent to seven years in space.

Einstein's theory of Special Relativity stands as a explanation to this calculation.

The currently accepted view of physics is that time is as real as space. Time is sometimes thought of as 'just' the fourth dimension, but it seems as though it is somehow different from the three dimensions of space. For a start, it appears to flow in only one direction

Like you said, time is an illusion, it's not real... We are only bound by the illusion of time here on earth.... There is no time in space

Time is not an illusion.

It is our consciousness of time that is an illusion.

One hour on earth is not 7 years in space. How ever, if you were to find yourself in a planet more massive, more gravity and rotating way faster than earth, time there could be slower than time here on earth because the faster you go, the slower time is for you. Outside space, outside earth or even on Mars, time is relatively the same as it is on earth.

No time, colour, sound or weight in space.

Nice thread.
We need more deliberation on this.

Time is not an illusion. The universe recognizes the concept of time, and lots of simple examples prove it.

If you plant a seed, you need time for it to grow. It doesn't matter if you overdose it with water, manure, or sunlight, you must wait for it to germinate. Time has to pass. The same goes with drying your clothes, weather changes (dry season to hot season or winter and summer), day and night, etc

In my opinion, time was created by man denote the movement of the earth around the sun. Is it useful, yes. Is it an illusion, depends on who's thinking.
