Na real wah o. You want one Nigeria, na fire, you want Biafra, na hell. I will advise people to stop smoking crushed burantashi. . .you're supposed to chew it, not crush it and smoke it.

Forget that gist, I'd rather say the "Hausas" are seriously taking over Lagos NOW, A larger percentage of them are involve in "Okada" business, Check out the Sweet/Gum sellers on traffic, most of them now are Hausas, beggars etc!

We're not contesting for governorship in Lagos rather we'll appoint governor in Lagos
we are not taking over Lagos we're owning Lagos and turn it to Igbo speaking state.
just give us 10years Lagos will be a full Igboland.

It can be spelled either way. In Things Fall Apart Dr. Achebe called spelled it Ibo, I spell it both way. What is proke, provoke? if so you are being provoked because of spelling, na you alone be Ibo (Igbo)

As the Jews go ahead having their descendants in all parts of the world making progress and success that's how the Igbos will be.
in the white world we have children from mixed race bearing Igbo surnames they will soon grow up to participate in politics
then there we start ruling the world not only Lagos and Nigeria.
We're the only Black tribe that can challenge the whites in both ways.

english, lebanese, chinese, indians all of them are filling lagos yet it is the Igbo one that is doing you - the former state capital will always be like that it is no longer just a Yoruba town, most wont even consider it that. Go to london and see how many races are there - it is the same in most capitals and because lagos was former capital it MUST be so. Some people carry on like having Igbos around you is the problem with Nigeria - why? Have Igbos not suffered themselves? We are all suffering together man so lighten up!

You are the biggest racist ever, you truly need help, you probably have a lot of unresolved issues, you even look like one of those people cleaning toilets abroad  grin  grin  grin . By the way, if Igbos are so special, why are your states so incredibly underdeveloped and backward, at least Lagos is changing a bit but ABA or ONITSHA is still ghetto but don't worry sha, when our state gov. starts charging you guys businesses high property taxes, then you would start crying like little babies.
Re: Are Igbos Taking Over Lagos? by ell77(f): 9:44pm On Jan 01, 2008
@davidif - please oh don't insult Igbos! It is uncalled for. People in power abuse their positions in those areas and non-Igbo areas also. Shouldn't the president enquire why certain areas are not developing - or don't you think it is because they don't care?

Re: Are Igbos Taking Over Lagos? by topkin(m): 11:49am On Jan 02, 2008
Why are u Igbos having the idea that you are taking over lagos? I don't understand? What gave u that impetus or inkling that Igbos are taking over lagos. Sincerely and without bias, lagos is still a yoruba land. 90% of lands and properties owned in lagos are for the Yorubas. You guys are just tenants, we remain the landlords!!! grin It may seem you are taking over but don't worry, we know what we are doing? Ever heard of an Igbo Governor in Lagos grin grin grin

If I, an Igboman for that matter clean toilets abroad  what will you a born slave do?, business??  NO

I've remove my picture, I know you're going to commit suicide for not being successful in life when ever you glance at it,

it's not your fault cause your tribe is made to be slaves or die of stavation.
one more thing worship Igboman whenever you see him/her for you to know the tricks
or you'll be enslave for ever.
my urge to be nationalistic die the day BIAFRA refused to exist as a nation.

Oziomatv, Nwanne don't fall into that trap . The person calling SE states backward and retarded is speaking for himself and not his ethnic group. You can pick a bone with him without dragging his people inside, since they were not there when he made the derogatory comments.

@oziomatv - please my brother, insulting a whole tribe is not the answer to one guys ignorance. Many yorubas, hausa etc etc are fantastic people and would even miss certain Igbos if they left Lagos.

Re: Are Igbos Taking Over Lagos? by olydim: 4:08pm On Jan 02, 2008
Apart from Lagos, which other Yoruba state is better than Enugu and other Igbo States? Is it Ibadan? The dirtiest and most unplanned city in the world? Or Ekiti or Iseyin, or Ijebu or Ogbomosho? Lagos is not really a typical Yoruba state as it is for everyone, with at least 35 % Igbo population. Remove Lagos and the Yorubas are finished.

Re: Are Igbos Taking Over Lagos? by ell77(f): 4:41pm On Jan 02, 2008
@oziomatv - I know this was directed at ify but . . . There is no way the nation will ever split - all the oil is in Niger-Delta so lets put that aside for one second. If we are to stay together as one nation with one rule (whether we should be together or not), I think we have to havbe at least some love for other tribes, don't you think so?

I know some Yoruba guys who treat Igbo women really well and some Igbo guys who treat other tribes really well with no stabs in the back. Yes there probably are problems at times and things don't work out for various reasons even the cultural reasons you may be highlighting but everyone's case is difference please. There is no way biafra will ever come to be whether it is the right thing or not - unless they find oil in hausa land. So how do we make Nigeria better if all the tribes are fragmented? Inter-tribal relationships can nsometimes be a blessing to Nigeria in disguise - maybe it fosters understanding and appreciation!
