ABAKALIKI The Hon. Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Ebonyi State, Dr. Ben Uruchi Odoh, has appointed Mr. Igwe Eze Chikodiri as the new Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the ministry in an appointment letter dated April 3, 2024. Mr. Igwe Eze is to serve as both the Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Justice and a Research Assistant to the office of the Hon. Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice. Other responsibilities include fostering positive relationships between the ministry and the public while effectively disseminating information to enhance transparency and accountability at the state ministry of justice. Dr. Odoh, who described Mr. Igwe Eze Chikodiri as an invaluable asset to the ministry, noted his various contributions as a research assistant and expressed confidence that he would excel in his new position. "I am delighted to extend to you this letter of appointment as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Ministry of Justice, Ebonyi State, effective April 1, 2024. "Since September 2023, you have been an invaluable asset as my research assistant, contributing significantly to various initiatives. Your unwavering dedication to service in the ministry has not gone unnoticed. "Given your exceptional performance and aptitude for communication and public relations, it is with great confidence that I entrust you with the responsibilities of the PRO role. "In this capacity, you will be responsible for fostering positive relationships between the Ministry and the public, disseminating information effectively, and promoting transparency and accountability in all our endeavours. "Your appointment comes at a crucial time when effective communication and public engagement are paramount to the success of our initiatives. I have every confidence that you will excel in this role and further enhance the reputation and standing of the Ministry of Justice, Ebonyi State. "I look forward to witnessing your continued growth and success in this new capacity. Once again, congratulations on your appointment." It stated.
