Recently, there has been a stir within the Christian community regarding statements made by Pastor Abel Damina criticizing Pastor E. A Adeboye's claim of having tea with God. While some voices support Damina's skepticism, others argue for the possibility of such divine interactions.

Is it feasible for God to engage in physical activities, such as drinking tea, with humanity. I would like perspectives, biblical references, to contemplate the nature of such divine encounter.

There is no biblical reference to fit such a claim. You would need to look outside of Scripture to find the true identity of the deity in question. I would probably start with local Nigerian deities since Adeboye is a Nigerian. undecided

Whenever these Christian gods of men open their mouth to speak of the God of Israel and His Son, Jesus Christ, they can't help themselves but spew forth lies. It is their specialty. Damina is just calling Adeboye out on his particular lie is all. undecided

If God drinks tea then He also pisses and defecates

Then if he pisses, means He has a dick.

Then if He has a dick, then He has erection...

What would Papa Adeboye gain by lying ?

You are joking, right? Everything he has today, he gained from lying in the name of God of Israel and Jesus Christ, both of whom made clear that what they offer applies only to the Lost sheep of Israel — Not Nigerians or those who are not of the blood of Israel. He is no different from any scammer/ponzi scheme business man out there and yes, they gain a lot through even that fraud. undecided

I am tired of seeing this, it is not ur encounter read Genesis 18:1-10. If God can eat cakes, then what is tea? When people say their encounter, do not counter them because u have not had one before.

1 Later, the Lord again appeared to Abraham near the oak trees of Mamre. It was the hottest part of the day, and Abraham was sitting at the door of his tent.
2 He looked up and saw three men standing in front of him. When he saw the men, he ran to them and bowed before them.
3 Abraham said, “Sirs,[a] please stay a while with me, your servant.
4 I will bring some water to wash your feet. You can rest under the trees.
5 I will get some food for you, and you can eat as much as you want. Then you can continue your journey.” The three men said, “Do as you wish.”
6 Abraham hurried to the tent. He said to Sarah, “Quickly, prepare enough flour for three loaves of bread.”
7 Then Abraham ran to his cattle. He took his best young calf and gave it to the servant there. He told the servant to quickly kill the calf and prepare it for food.
8 Abraham brought the meat and some milk and cheese and set them down in front of the three men. Then he stood near the men, ready to serve them while they sat under the tree and ate.
9 Then the men said to Abraham, “Where is your wife Sarah?” Abraham said, “She is there, in the tent.”
10 Then one of them said, “I will come again in the spring. At that time your wife Sarah will have a son.”
Sarah was listening in the tent and heard these things.
11 Abraham and Sarah were very old. Sarah was past the right age for women to have children.
12 So she laughed to herself and said, “I am old, and my husband is old. I am too old to have a baby.”
13 Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Sarah laughed and said she was too old to have a baby.
14 But is anything too hard for the Lord? I will come again in the spring, just as I said I would, and your wife Sarah will have a son.”
15 Sarah said, “I didn’t laugh!” (She said this because she was afraid.) Then the Lord said, “No, I know that is not true. You did laugh!”
16 Then the men got up to leave. They looked toward Sodom and began walking in that direction. Abraham walked with them to send them on their way. - Genesis 18 vs 1 - 16

▶ Verse 1 states that YHWH, the LORD, appeared to Abraham and he sat among the oak trees of Mamre.
▶ After that/then, Abraham lifted his eyes and saw three men whom he invited to eat with him, Abraham. He introduced himself as a servant to these three men, but that doesn't in any way mean the men were YHWH. Equally, the passage does not say that the one who ate with Abraham was YHWH

The passage says "men" this one don turn am to angels. So, in your mind, the author of the passage is wrong in writing that it was men that ate with Abraham abi! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You even drag Jesus name enter when His name was not mentioned. All in a bid to ensure some false connection to the like you would rather cling to abi? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

When those men got to Sodom and Gomo of which One did not enter, did you not see that the men were truly Angels as she said?

And where we not told that The Lord Said "He.would go down to see if the cry of Sodom and Gomo was True, hence the visitation of Abraham?

That aside, it appears to me that none of them ate!

Kobojunkie: It says right in verse 8 that the men --- not YHWH --- ate

This is the height of it, twisting scripture just to propagate lie against God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

People with brain reading the Bible passages you quoted can quickly spot your lies.

Verse 10 of that verse (from the version you provided) says "Then one of them said, “I will come again in the spring. At that time your wife Sarah will have a son.”

Which means, "ONE OF THEM" is The LORD YHWH

This is supported with the rest of the passage.

Verse 13 says "Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Sarah laughed and said she was too old to have a baby."

Which means it was The Lord YHWH who asked Abraham that question and He is the one who knows that Sarah LAUGH because Sarah was not with them.

Verse 14 even makes it more obvious that it was YHWH who was speaking as the verse says "But is anything too hard for the Lord? I will come again in the spring, just as I said I would, and your wife Sarah will have a son.”

What the speaker says as seen @color_red was first mentioned in verse 10 "Then one of them said, “I will come again in the spring. At that time your wife Sarah will have a son.”

You already agreed that it was the MEN WHO ATE FOOD and it's evident that YHWH was ONE OF THE MEN.

The extent you can go to prove how you can twist scripture is something else.

To even claim this happened in a vision or dream is still reasonable than this obvious lie when it was written in a plain English.

Read through the passage she provided, you'll spot her lie.

Verse 10 says "ONE of them..." which means among the MEN, ONE spoke with Abraham about Sarah conceive and that "ONE IS IDENTIFY as The Lord YHWH".

She's a twister of the scriptures as you can see here.

It's possible for spirit beings to engage humans in physical things but as regards the Bible God He only dealt with people whom He uses to accomplish His purpose.

So if Adeboye claims God drank tea with Him surely that is possible but it's not the Bible God who often does all things on purpose.

Here are questions that we need to address:

What has Adeboye been doing that fits in to God's purpose?
Has any prophets of God had such experience in our time?

God only deal with people who are doing His will so before saying the old man lied or not it's important to consider what is God's will according to the Bible then check if Adeboye is doing it! Matthew 7:21-23
