Don't bother explaining anything to him. Even if he follows the military to the north east and they give him permission to record every single thing, he would still come out to say terrible things. Just ask him where in Nigeria he comes from and you'll understand why he hates anything about Nigeria so much. He is not the only one. Check all of them that are doing the same thing here and ask about their tribe. They're from the same area and they hate to see good things about Nigeria. The only time they are happy is when they hear that terrorists slaughter soldiers and civilians. Honestly, the president is being lenient with them but they don't know. The army is seeing everything and overlooking but they don't know. In some countries, the government in conjunction with the military would flood the internet with malwares which every citizen would likely download. From there enemies of the state would be targeted one after the other secretly and executed. These people don't know the kind of freedom they enjoy on their keyboards. Yes if we see government misbehaving, it's normal to protest but if the government is doing well and you still decide to speak ill of them just cos the president is not from your tribe then automatically you have become an enemy of the state. No one takes them serious anymore. They are just toxic losers

Nairaland has become an eyesore. Some of my friends have stopped visiting nairaland cos of this. Too much hatred and toxicity. Something has to be done to stop this. Maybe blocking IP addresses or something cos these same people have several monikers here. Their only aim is to destabilize the forum and make it a Battle ground using ethnicity. Nairaland was taken down cos of this and now everything is back again. The mods need to monitor these people and act. Cyber bullying is a crime
