Scripture Text: Titus 2:7-8;

There are different role models but the true one is a godly one.

As Christians, God wants us to live a good life that others can follow, both inside and outside of church. The Bible tells us to be good people in God's place and around other people so that no bad things will be said about God because of us.

Beloved, the truth is that we live in this world but are not of it. As Christians, our end is heaven, where we will live forever with Christ Jesus. People should live by good examples of character so that others can see them and learn from them as long as they are on earth.

It's too bad that many Christians today don't show these godly traits; they don't teach Christ without words. Being a role model means that you show others how to be good by what you say and do. It means showing off your godliness so that others can follow your lead. Can you speak for that group of people? You don't have to be a boss to show godly traits.

Matthew 5:16–17, says; "Let your light shine before people so that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father who is in heaven." This is telling you to make a big difference like a child of God should wherever you are. Put God's light on everything around you, including your home, business, market, neighborhood, and even your church. Don't forget that people want to read you. Some people want to read your letter before they read the Bible. Make sure that what you say and do shows who you really are and speaks of Christ. That you are a good and worthy representative of Christ is clear from the godly thoughts, actions, and words that many people learn from you.

Beloved, does God trust you to be His representative and example in the world today? As a Christian, he wants you to lead sinners to Christ and non-Christians to righteousness by the way you live your life. In reality, all Christians are called to share their faith through their everyday lives. You and I are to show the world Christ and all He stands for by living in a way that others want to follow. If you're not doing this already, I think you should start now.

The Bible says that you will know someone by their fruits, not by what they say. These fruits are qualities of good people. You are like a tree that bears fruit that must stay in the Lord as a child of God. This is how other people will see Christ in you and know Christ through you.

Think about these situations. A story was told about a Christian brother who was very religious and took time to teach others the Bible and pray. Someone who used to live next door and had recently joined the church saw him doing his normal church activities and asked, "Could this be the brother who used to live on my street and was called a fraudster but then disappeared?" People say that he always tricks people and then hides in different parts of the city where he can't be found. When this brother saw his old neighbor, he grabbed the nearest exit and ran out of the church. Why did he do that? His sins were now known to him. Do you know that God wants your life to be so interesting that it draws people into His kingdom? Always be a true Christian, whether you're with other people or not. Set a good example by being holy. Let other people see the good in you and do the same.
