9jatriot: I agree with you brother. Govt should set a Center to respond and Record Events and Enquiries to issues in their departments- including MDAs - like NNPC, DISCOS, Custom Dept, Police Dept,All Ministries -These Dept should give time and Name of Officials handling the Issues-when to fix the issues - with definite dates! -Most Ministries are lazy , Not dynamic, unlike Private Sectors and are mostly Very Corrupt! -This Methods will surely checks them - including Ogas/ Supervisors that are not adding anything or Values to the System but are collecting Salaries and Allowances! NIGERIANS are now eager to tackle our Ministers Performances! |

updatechange: Are you aware of the many recent raids especially in some markets in the South East and Lagos? Also announcements made in respect of some fake or defective drugs and drinks? I remember that she once said that they're currently grossly understaffed and that they are requesting for approval for more personnel so they can perform better. |

delpee: My dear, it’s very sad cos ppl are dying on a daily basis and the government is looking away from it. I shuffle between Egbeda and IKEJA and I can categorically tell you that 99% of all the soft drinks I’ve been buying from shops are all fake and at costly prices, the worst part are the alcoholic drinks especially in Egbeda… 98.99% of the drinks sold in Egbeda are all fake believe me. Why can’t these people go there and lock their shops and make some arrests because these people are killing innocent lives. Babe, I’m really sad about these whole thing and that’s why some Nigerians are running away not just because of the bad economy but because of their lives. Na poor man take risk pass for this life, a daily life of a poor man na risk. Imagine those flung out of the bus and straight into the lagoon and the injured ones, took a risk by entering a bad vehicle that’s not road worthy. Yet they collect (owomida) from them and don’t care about the people. |
Re: Nigerians Report Ministers To Tinubu After Launch Of Citizens’ Delivery Tracker by delpee(f): 2:27pm On Apr 14 |
updatechange: I understand you perfectly. It's most disheartening. Now I'm really careful about where I buy things but one is never so sure. I think NAFDAC truly needs more staff so they can have units in all Local Government offices at least, where complaints can be lodged. That way, response is quicker and the criminals know that they're under watch. If you have any complaint, another option is the Consumer Protection agency. The one in Lagos in particular is quite effective. They've closed down some supermarkets for selling fake or expired items. The government has it's faults but we the people need to do better. Selling fake products is not too far from premeditated murder. Very wicked people indeed. |
Re: Nigerians Report Ministers To Tinubu After Launch Of Citizens’ Delivery Tracker by updatechange(m): 9:23pm On Apr 15 |
delpee: See our leaders still have the bulk of the jobs to do…. It’s not enough for them to arrest the producers of these fake items alone but the seller too whom are the real culprit because they know what they’re buying and knows where to get the real ones |
