Two die in Anambra auto crash



Two persons have reportedly died on Wednesday in a head-on auto crash on the Idemili-Orafite road in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The crash which occurred at about 7.30am at Oba junction involved two trucks without registration numbers.

The RAZOR NEWSPAPER gathered that one of the victims was trapped in the vehicle following the head-on collision.

Confirming the crash, Anambra State Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Adeoye Irelewuyi said two male adults were killed, one taken to a nearby morgue while the other was trapped in the vehicle.

He sympathized with the deceased family, and advised the motoring public to form the habit of obeying traffic rules and avoid divided attention to avert loss of control while driving .

Irelewuyi added, "Efforts were being made towards removal of the trapped victim with extricating machine."
