*INSPIRED TO OVERCOME*

*Philippians 4:13 KJV*
__‘’I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.’’_

*2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV*
_‘’And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’’_

God called us to be the light of the world, a city set on the hill which cannot be hidden. God ordained man to live a purpose-driven life, meaning, as sons and daughters of the Most High we are not made for mediocrity. We are made to be champions and to be at our best in all we do for God and humanity.

Yes, you may have gone through the fiery furnace. Perhaps life has given you bitter blows. Maybe you failed that examination or interview a couple of times. You may have done the right things but the wrong things kept coming your way. Maybe you’re wondering: How did I come down with this disease, or illness? The inflation rate is high and government policies are bad, my business is not doing well, I am divorced and broke, I‘m in huge debts, etc. It's time you drop the negative thinking and replace them with positivity drawn from God’s truth about you.

You are what God says you are, not what people or challenges say about you. You must know who God is to you and who He says you are. What scripture has inspired your heart today? You have to find some, because that is how we win in life.
As Christians we are called to be triumphant. We are the anointed of God, and we are joint heirs with Christ Jesus (Rom. 8:17). Therefore, you have the authority and power to change that situation you’re in. Refuse to be entrapped by what you see or what you are going through. Find what God’s Word says concerning that situation and superimpose it.
Sometimes you may feel like you have what it takes to propel your dreams forward or move in the right direction by yourself, until challenges beyond your comprehension hit your life unexpectedly. First, you should have leaned on God and not on your own strength. Yet, at this moment you need to yield to God to deliver you out. You need to exercise the believer’s authority, which is releasing the faith that resides in your spirit. This is why it is important that, as Christians, we read the Word of God daily, pray and fast continually, so that we can have the requisite built-in faith and capacity to withstand and counter when the devil strikes.

By virtue of being a child of God, you are powerful in Christ and have the authority to be whatever you aspire to be in accordance with God's will. So, don’t settle for less or let Satan have a field day in your life. Set goals and achieve them. Don't let the devil trick you to think you are ordinary. You have the power to achieve your dreams to the glory of God and for humanity.

*Prayer*
Father, thank you because from today I learn to have a positive mindset and I activate the faith and authority given to me by Your Word, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*Declaration*
Today, I am strong and courageous. I do not fear any situations that confront me. I am set for great exploits as an heir of the Kingdom and I have the power of resurrection working for me. Hallelujah!

*DISCIPLESHIP FOR KINGDOM MULTIPLICATION AND EXPANSION*

*Matthew 28:16-20 (KJV)*
_‘’Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.’’_

*Luke 9:23-24 (KJV)*
_‘’And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.’’_

Discipleship is about leaning harder into God. To become a disciple means to become a life-long learner and a student under Jesus Christ. Followers of Christ start out in their faith walk as disciples, and after proper discipleship they become disciple makers. As disciples of Christ, our lives revolve around the Word of God, the Spirit of God, the people of God, and the mission of Jesus. We are only termed disciples of Christ when we study God's Word, pray, evangelize, fellowship, and have intimacy with the Father.

Evangelism is the means through which disciples bear fruit, multiply and expand God's kingdom. Matthew 9:37-38 KJV tells us the need and urgency for evangelism: “Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest.” The hallmark of discipleship is multiplication and productivity. Therefore, as a disciple of Jesus Christ, you must always be busy. You are either busy being groomed, grooming others, or doing both.

The journey of discipleship is indeed a long one, and no disciple must be caught sleeping on the way side. Discipleship is God's system of maturing His children. It is God's plan for grooming His children. A disciple is someone that is committed to growth; a good disciple never stops growing. A good disciple is a believer who multiplies and bears good fruits. Discipleship helps us grow into good representatives of Christ. And, just like Christ trained His disciples for the task ahead of them, discipleship is God's tool for equipping the saints before sending them to the ends of the earth to bear witness of the truth.

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV admonishes us to “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Discipleship helps us outgrow childishness, stand as strategic sons and daughters, and master the act of soul winning wherever we find ourselves. As good disciples, therefore, we need to grow spiritually, physically, politically, socially, economically and educationally.

It is great imbalance to crawl when you should be walking, or run when you should be flying. No one was born a teacher, but you can't teach if you've not been properly taught and if you've not taken out time to properly learn. We need to take out time to grow God's way through strategic discipleship for effective multiplication and kingdom expansion.

*Prayer*
Father, help me to never stop growing and bearing fruits in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*Declaration*
I am fruitful. I bear good fruits. I do not fall by the wayside. I am a good disciple and a good disciple maker. I multiply and expand God's kingdom. I take the Gospel to the ends of the earth, starting with my immediate sphere of influence.

*THE TRANSFORMATIVE POWER OF RIGHTEOUSNESS*

*Psalm 34:12-19 (KJV)*
_‘’What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.’’_

Life is governed by principles. There are principles to living a triumphant life here on the earth and righteousness is one of them. As believers, we must embrace the principles and dictates of righteousness if we must triumph as God intends for us. Jesus’ life on earth was an embodiment of righteousness and sinless living. Every of His exploits and triumphs are traceable to His righteousness. Hebrews 1:9 confirms this, “You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions.” This clearly shows that God loves and rewards righteousness. “The Lord will bless the righteous and will surround him with favour like a shield” (Psa. 5:12).

To live triumphantly as believers, we must live righteously. There is a glorious destiny set before us as a body (the Church) and as individuals, but to manifest it we must align ourselves to the precepts of righteousness. Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church, rode gloriously in righteousness; so, as believers, we do not have any choice but to align ourselves with this same principle to ride up high.

Everyone of us has the capacity to live righteous because we have even been made righteous in Christ Jesus. According to 2 Cor. 5:21, we have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Our duty now is to bear fruits of righteousness by allowing the principle and force of righteousness to regulate our attitude and behaviour.

The Bible says we are trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord that He might be glorified. The way to glorify God is for us to be at the topmost top in all we do, and the force that guarantees this exaltation is righteousness. The Church is a city set on a hill and cannot be hidden, but for us to take our place at the top in all spheres of life, we must be driven and propelled by the force of righteousness. “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people” (Prov. 14:34). If righteousness exalts, crookedness demotes. It reduces the quality of your life and destiny. Which do you choose?

The difference between the eagle and the vulture is character. The eagle does not taste rottenness; but to the vulture, the rottener a piece of meat, the better. Well, it is clear to all which of the birds has an aura of acceptance, prominence and respect around it. If you want to go up in life, make up your mind to uphold the character of uprightness. The lifestyle of uprightness is your key to going up and staying up in life. To be righteous is to end right up.

*Prayers*
Father, help me to live right in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*Declarations*
I have the gift of righteousness. I live right and I bear fruits of righteousness.

*PROPHETIC PROMISES: ANCHORING OUR HOPE IN GOD'S WORD*

*Hebrews‬ 10:37‬ NKJV‬‬*
_“For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry._

These words resonate with hope and expectation, reminding us that God's promises are sure and steadfast. Throughout scripture, we see countless examples of God fulfilling his promises with unwavering faithfulness. From the covenant with Abraham to the birth of Jesus Christ, every word spoken by God has come to pass in its appointed time.

Consider the prophecy of the Messiah foretold centuries before his birth. Isaiah 7:14 declares, "Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel." This prophecy found its fulfillment in the miraculous birth of Jesus, fulfilling God's plan of redemption for humanity. Jeremiah 29:11 says; "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

God's promises extend beyond the pages of scripture; they are alive and active in our lives today. 2 Corinthians 1:20 proclaims, "For no matter how many promises God has made, they are 'Yes' in Christ. And so through him the 'Amen' is spoken by us to the glory of God." Every promise spoken by God finds its fulfillment in Jesus Christ, and as believers, we can trust in his faithfulness to bring them to pass. So how do we respond to the promises of God? We do so with faith and perseverance, knowing that God is faithful to fulfill what he has spoken. Psalm: 119:105 assures us, "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." As we immerse ourselves in scripture, we find guidance, comfort, and assurance in God's unfailing promises.

Moreover, let us declare our faith in God's promises with unwavering confidence, speaking forth His truth and proclaiming His goodness to all who will hear. Our words have power, and as we align them with the promises of God, we release His divine authority into every situation. Furthermore, let us live in expectation and anticipation of God's fulfillment of His promises in our lives. Just as the Israelites waited expectantly for the fulfillment of God's promise of a Messiah, so too shall we wait with hopeful hearts for the manifestation of His promises in our lives.

In conclusion, let us walk in faith, knowing that God's promises are "Yes" and "Amen" in Christ Jesus. Let us trust in His timing and His ways, confident that He will bring to pass every word He has spoken. As we abide in His Word and His love, we will experience the richness of His promises and the fullness of His blessings.

*Prayer*
Heavenly Father, thank you for the certainty of your promises. Help me to trust in your faithfulness, Give me the strength to hold fast to your word and to walk by faith, knowing that you are always true to your promises.

*Declaration*
I declare my trust in the promises of God. I believe that every word spoken by him comes to pass in its appointed time. I walk by faith and not by sight, confident that God is working all things together for my good in Jesus name Amen.

*LETTING GO OF GUILT*

*Romans 8:1 NIV*
_‘’Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.’’_

*2 Corinthians‬ 7‬:10‬ NIV*
_‘’Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.“_

Guilt is a powerful emotion. It can weigh heavy on our hearts, consuming our thoughts and draining our spirits. Whether it's the weight of past mistakes or the burden of current shortcomings, guilt has a way of holding us captive, preventing us from experiencing the freedom and joy that God desires for us.As Christians, we are not immune to feelings of guilt. In fact, sometimes our awareness of God's holiness and our own human weakness can amplify those feelings. We may find ourselves dwelling on our failures, replaying our mistakes in our minds, and wondering if we will ever measure up.

But the beauty of the Christian faith lies in the transformative power of God's grace. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we have been set free from the bondage of sin and guilt. His blood has washed away our transgressions, and His resurrection has given us new life.

Apostle Paul reminds us in Romans 8:1 that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. This means that we are no longer defined by our past mistakes or our present shortcomings. Instead, we are defined by our identity in Christ. We are beloved children of God, forgiven and redeemed by His grace. So how do we let go of guilt and embrace the freedom that Christ offers? It begins with acknowledging our need for forgiveness and accepting the gift of grace that God freely offers us. We must confess our sins, repent of our wrongdoing, and trust in the promise of God's unconditional love.

But letting go of guilt also requires us to extend that same grace to ourselves. We must recognize that when we feel guilty, it’s the devil who lies to us against true repentance. We are to have godly sorrow that leads to repentance just like the case of Peter who denied Jesus not guilt that leads to death like the case of Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus and committed suicide. Overcoming guilt is possible with the help of Jesus Christ. Peter was able to overcome the guilt because Jesus prayed for him (Luke 22:31).

Confessing your sins to one another can bring support that will lead to repentance. As we release our grip on guilt and embrace the truth of God's forgiveness, we can experience true freedom and joy in Christ. We can live each day with confidence, knowing that we are loved, accepted, and forgiven. And we can share that same grace and compassion with others, extending the message of hope and redemption to a world in need.

*Prayer*
Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of your grace and forgiveness. Help us to let go of guilt and embrace the freedom that you offer us through Jesus Christ. May we live each day in the light of your love, confident in our identity as your beloved children. Amen.

*Declaration*
I am free from shame and guilt, I am no longer slave to sin, I am the redeemed of the Lord, I am a renewed believer and I am God's own.

*LIVING IN TRUTH: THE ESSENCE OF DISCIPLESHIP*

*John 8:31-32 KJV*
_‘’Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.’’_

Jesus teaches His followers that sticking to His teachings makes them true disciples who know the truth and find freedom. Believers start with faith like the Jews did, but real discipleship means living out the truth we believe. Being a disciple means more than just saying we believe; it means obeying and seeking truth relentlessly. Many say they believe, but only a few really live out the truth. True disciples don't just talk about truth; they live it out every day. The Word is the foundation for their lives, without which true discipleship cannot exist.

Today, many claim to be disciples but don't show the transforming power of truth in their lives. There's a gap between what they say and what they do, leading to a weak form of discipleship that lacks real spiritual life. True discipleship means showing Christ's life in us. As vessels filled with the Spirit, our lives should reflect Christ's leadership, drawing others closer to Him. The world sees real disciples not just by their words but by how authentically they live—by how much they reflect Christ in who they are and what they do.

Now, more than ever, believers need to go beyond just talking about their faith and start living it out. Our mission is to show the world the life-changing truth of the Gospel, not just with words, but by how we live each day. The Bible's power isn't just in quoting verses, but in how we live them out. Let's commit to living every part of our lives according to God's Word, so the world can see Christ living in us.

Today, there exists a pressing need for believers to bridge the gap between profession and practice, between words and deeds. Our mission as disciples is not confined to verbal proclamation alone but extends to the way we embody the Gospel in our conduct and character. The world is watching, not just to hear what we have to say, but to see how effectively we live out the truth we profess.

Therefore, let us commit ourselves to a life of genuine discipleship, where our words and actions align with the teachings of Christ. May our lives serve as a living testimony to the transformative power of the Gospel, drawing others closer to Him by the authenticity of our faith. As vessels of the Spirit, may we continually reflect Christ's leadership, shining His light brightly in a world desperately in need of His truth and love.

*Prayer*
Heavenly Father, grant me the grace to not only know the truth but to live it out with unwavering obedience. Help me to transcend the allure of compromise and embody the transformative power of your Word in every aspect of our lives.

*Declaration*
I declare today that my life shall reflect the truth I have encountered, and through my obedience to God's Word, others shall witness the living reality of Christ within me. I am a disciple, both in word and deed, shining forth the light of His truth to the world.

*CLARION CALL FOR SOUL WINNING*

*Acts 1:8 (KJV)*
_‘’But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.’’_

*Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV)*
_‘’Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:”_

One of our major responsibilities or mandates as Christiains is to win souls for the Kingdom of Heaven. Remember the parable of the lost sheep, where Jesus told the story of the sheep which the Shepherd had lost. The shepherd, being diligent, left the 99 saved ones and went in search of the lost one. And when he found it, he rejoiced greatly (Luke 15:1-7). As the lost sheep wandered away from the safety of his shepard, so do we stray from the path of righteousness sometimes. Yet, no matter how far we've strayed, we are never beyond the reach of God's grace and mercy. His love knows no bounds, and His mercy is endless.

Moreover, as Christians, we know people who are ignorant of the goodness of God or have backslidden. It is our duty to bring them to Christ. Some of us have parents who are traditionalists and have just a couple more years to live on this earth, friends who need to retrace their steps, neighbors and strangers who need to experience the goodness of God. Those are souls to win to the Lord through evangelism and intercession.

Evangelism is the zealous push of the message of Christ's love to the public or to specific people.
How should you evangelize?
Prayer and interceding: We start by asking God to give us the courage to overcome our fears and step out in faith. Ignite our hearts with a passion for reaching the lost, provide divine opportunities to witness, and wisdom to speak His truth. Secondly, you can intercede for a specific person or sinners in general.
Tell people about God's unconditional love (John 3:16): Jesus came for the lost sheep. We must tell people how God loves them so much, even as sinners, and how much He wants them to partake of His love.
Tell people about the blessings of God (Psalm 34:cool: If you’re gifted an apple, you can only determine how sweet it is by taking a bite. So is the love of Christ, which we must let sinners know about and partake in. We must help them to realize that God is the only source of true rest, satisfaction and contentment they can find. The blessings of God makes us rich beyond material things, and it brings no sorrow (Prov. 10:22).

This is a clarion call to all every Christian who reads this to win souls. To live a purpose-driven life, which is using your personality and opportunities to propagate the Kingdom of God to humanity. Today we can win souls through service in church or in our community, through evangelism, and through financing the gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel of Christ must reach the ends of the earth. What are you doing today as a Christian to win souls for Christ?

*Prayer*
Father, help me to be a fruitful Christian. Empower me to be faithful in advancing your Kingdom on earth, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*Declaration*
I declare today that I am bold, strong and able to speak the Word of God and live the Word of God.

*ACCESSING DIVINE PROTECTION*

*Psalm 91:1-4 (KJV)*
_‘’He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.’’_

*Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)*
_‘’Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yeah, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.’’_

Divine protection is the birthright of the new creature in Christ. As sons of God, we have rights, privileges and responsibilities. One of the rights we have in God is that of divine protection. Just as children have the rights to their parents’ name, we also have the right to the name of Jesus. Divine protection is our kingdom right, and so is divine health.

When you got born again, one of the rights that came with your new birth is that of divine protection. However, it is not enough to have the right of divine protection, you need to understand how to exercise the right to work for you. First, you have to be under the divine mandate in order to access your right to divine protection. Just as our smartphones are useless when the battery is low, so is our right to divine protection of no effect when we are not filled with the Spirit.

The right to divine protection is also tied to our right to being led by God’s Spirit. When you are full of the Spirit, you will be under the influence of the Spirit, thus guaranteeing your protection from all forms of harm. “And be not drunken with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the spirit;” (Eph. 5:18 KJV). God always speaks to us beforehand concerning a lot of things, to ensure our safety, but most times we tend to ignore or not hear those instructions. However, if we are perpetually led by God, we'll be able to fully exercise our right to divine protection. When we are Spirit-filled, scriptures come alive inside us, giving us directions, telling us what to do and where to go per time and situation.

This is why Psalms 121:6-8 KJV says, “The sun shall note smite thee by day nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth and even for evermore.” This scripture and similar others are God's promises for His children. But as sons of God, for the promises of God to find full expression in our lives, we have to learn to walk in accordance with God's Word for our lives. Remember, God can't send you without protecting you. When you are led by God, you are fully protected and carried on His wings.

Prayer
Father, help me to know and listen to your voice. Lord, help me never to ignore your word and your instruction in Jesus’ name.

*Declaration*
I listen to God's Word. I am led by God. I live in accordance with God's purpose for my life. I do not ignore the voice of the Lord. I am Spirit-filled and under the influence of the Spirit. I listen to God’s instructions and am protected.

*BENEFITS OF LONG SUFFERING*

*Romans 8:17-19 (KJV)*
_"And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God."_

In the Christian faith, long suffering is a concept that refers to the ability to endure and persevere through difficult and trying circumstances. It is often seen as a virtue, as it requires patience, fortitude, and faith. Long suffering can be thought of as a spiritual discipline that helps Christians grow closer to God and become more Christ-like. Hence, the end result of long suffering is a deeper faith and a greater sense of peace and contentment.

As believers, we exercise long suffering by remaining faithful and trusting in God even when things are hard. And using our own experiences, after we have overcome, we are able to help other believers who are going through difficult times. Of course, long suffering is not easy, but it's worth it because it leads to a closer and deeper relationship with God. And Jesus is our example in this. He suffered greatly, yet He remained faithful and kept His focus on God.

Long suffering also leads to spiritual growth and maturity. The Apostle Paul said, "I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us" (Romans 8:18). And also very important is the fact that it is only temporary. Until then, we can take comfort in knowing that God is with us always and He gives us the strength to endure. Paul wrote, "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed" (2 Cor. 4:8-9 ESV).

When we practice long suffering, it can have a positive impact on our relationships, leading to deeper and more meaningful relationships. For example, it can help us be more patient with others and understand their struggles. James wrote, "Let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God" (James 1:19-20). When we learn to be patient and long suffering, we become better at loving and serving others.

One more aspect of long suffering is its effect on our character. It helps us develop important character traits like humility, kindness, and self-control. Humility is often developed through long suffering, as we learn to rely on God and not on ourselves. Kindness is also a fruit of long suffering, as we learn to be considerate of others who are suffering. And self-control is necessary for enduring suffering with grace and dignity. All of these character traits are pleasing to God and beneficial to our lives.

*Prayer*
Dear God, please give me the strength to endure suffering with grace and dignity. Help me to rely on you and not on myself, and to develop the character traits of humility, kindness, and self-control. I know that you have a plan for my life, even when I am going through difficult times. Please give me the peace and comfort that only you can provide, in Jesus' name. Amen.

*Declaration*
Lord, I thank you for the process that you are using to build up my character. I know that you are working in me, making me more like Christ. Through this process, I will be blessed in all measures.

*WISDOM FROM THE SERPENT*

*Matthew 10:16 ESV*
_‘’Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.’’_

For many years, the verse above has been a source of concern to many Christians as they try to decode what exactly Jesus meant by this statement. Maybe you too have wondered: What does it mean to be sheep in the midst of wolves? What does it mean to be wise as a serpent and innocent as a dove? Maybe you’ve gone a step further and wondered: ‘Jesus, couldn’t You have just said this thing in plain language for us to understand?’ Well, let me help you today by unveiling some profound lessons on the nature of wisdom, as contained in this enigmatic counsel and curious directive that Jesus gave His disciples, drawing inspiration from the serpent.

1. Discernment in Temptation (Genesis 3:1-6): The serpent, though cunning, showcased a form of wisdom in the Garden of Eden. While his motives were deceptive, there's a crucial lesson in discernment. He studied and discerned the time Eve would be most vulnerable to fall prey to his temptation, and unfortunately, he succeeded. We must be discerning to know right from wrong, so that we don’t fall to Satan’s schemes. “So that Satan will not outsmart us. For we are familiar with his evil schemes” (2 Cor. 2:11 NLT).

2. Prudence in Strategy (Proverbs 30:24-28): Proverbs 30:18-19 presents a vivid picture of some creatures, including the serpent, as wonderful in their actions. The serpent's strategic approach highlights the value of prudence and planning. Proverbs 14:8 reinforces that the wisdom of the prudent is to discern his way.

3. Shrewdness in Interactions (Matthew 10:16): Jesus encourages His disciples to be "wise as serpents." This wisdom involves shrewdness in navigating the challenges of the world. Proverbs 22:3 advises that the prudent see danger and take refuge, while the simple keep going and pay the penalty.

4. Balance with Innocence (Matthew 10:16): The directive to be "innocent as doves" accompanies the call to be wise as serpents. Wisdom, when coupled with innocence, creates a harmonious balance. James 3:17 describes the wisdom from above as pure and peaceable. “But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere.” (NLT)

As we reflect on these wisdom nuggets, let us not miss the nuanced nature of wisdom. Wisdom involves discernment, prudence, and shrewdness, but it is most impactful when grounded in innocence and purity, peace and gentleness. Proverbs 3:13 reminds us that blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding. May our pursuit of wisdom align with God's principles, embracing the multidimensional nature of wisdom and finding true understanding through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

*Prayer*
Father, I ask You to fill me with your wisdom and help me to live by it every day of my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*Declaration*
I declare that I am filled and I am walking in the wisdom and understanding that the Holy Spirit gives. I am prudent, discerning, shrewd and innocent in all my daily dealings, and the enemy does not gain an advantage over me.

*TRIUMPH IN TRIALS: EMBRACING GROWTH THROUGH ADVERSITY*

*James‬ 1:2-‬4‬ NKJV‬‬*
_"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing."_

Trials and temptations are inevitable aspects of the human experience, yet they often leave us feeling weary and discouraged. However, James 1:2-4 offers a perspective that challenges our perception of these hardships: "Consider it pure joy, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. At first glance, rejoicing in the midst of trials seems counterintuitive. How can we find joy in pain and adversity? Yet, James encourages us to shift our focus from the immediate discomfort, to the potential growth that awaits us on the other side.

In Genesis 50:20, Joseph declares, "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives." Joseph's trials ultimately led to his elevation, where he was able to save his family and countless others from famine. In the same way, our trials and temptations have the potential to strengthen our faith and character. They serve as opportunities for us to grow in perseverance, resilience, and maturity. Romans 5:3-4 reaffirms this truth, stating, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."

So how do we navigate trials and temptations with joy and perseverance? It begins with a shift in perspective, an acknowledgment that God can use even the most challenging circumstances for our good and his glory. We must also lean into prayer and seek God's wisdom and strength to endure. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

As we face trials and temptations, let us hold fast to the truth of God's Word and His promises. Let us remember that we are not alone in our struggles, for God is with us every step of the way, guiding us and providing us with the strength we need. Let us also draw encouragement from the stories of faithful individuals like Joseph, who experienced God's faithfulness even in the midst of adversity.

Furthermore, let us cultivate a spirit of gratitude and trust in God's sovereignty, knowing that He is working all things together for our good. As we pray and seek His face, let us surrender our fears and anxieties, casting all our cares upon Him. In doing so, we can experience the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. So let us press on with perseverance and hope, confident that God is faithful to fulfill His promises and bring us through every trial victoriously.

*Prayer*
Heavenly Father, thank you for the promise that you work all things together for my good. Grant me the wisdom and strength to endure, leaning on your grace and power. I emerge from trials stronger, wiser, and more resilient, reflecting the character of Christ to the world .

*Declaration*
Today, I declare that I will rejoice in trials and temptations, knowing that they produce perseverance. I walk in faith, knowing that through Christ, I am more than a conqueror.

*EXPERIENCING BREAKTHROUGH IN CHRIST*

*Isaiah 43:19 NLT*
_"For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland."_

*Mark‬ 11‬:23‬ NIV*
_‘’Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.“_

‬‬
Have you ever found yourself facing a seemingly insurmountable obstacle? Perhaps it's a persistent sin that you just can't seem to overcome, or a dream or goal that feels out of reach. In moments like these, it's easy to feel discouraged and hopeless, wondering if things will ever change. But as followers of Christ, we serve a God who specializes in breakthroughs. Throughout the pages of Scripture, we see God working in miraculous ways to bring about transformation and deliverance for His people. From parting the Red Sea for the Israelites to raising Jesus from the dead. God has a long history of breaking through barriers and making a way where there seems to be no way.

In Isaiah 43:19, God declares, "For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland." This verse reminds us that God is always at work, even in the midst of our greatest challenges. He is constantly making a way for us, even when it seems impossible from our perspective. So how do we experience breakthroughs in our own lives? It begins with faith - faith in the power and faithfulness of God.

Ultimately, true breakthrough comes when we align our hearts with God's purposes and surrender our will to Him. When we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, all these things will be added unto us (Matthew 6:33). David experienced a major breakthrough. It happened at a time when he faced a powerful opponent, when it would have been easy to accept defeat. The Philistines had heard that David had been anointed king. They remembered how he had defeated their champion, Goliath, and led Israel’s armies to victories over them.

Deciding to attack this adversary, they went “in search of David” and “made a raid in the valley of Rephaim” David was ready to confront these enemies. But, before taking any action, he “inquired of God.” He wanted to know if the Lord wanted him to attack. God responded, “Go up, for I will give them into your hand.” When Israel followed God’s lead, they won a great victory. David realized he had “broken through” the defenses of his enemies (1 Chronicles 14:8-17). As we continue to press forward in faith, trusting in His timing and ways, we can rest assured that He will bring about the breakthrough we long for.

*Prayer*
Heavenly Father, thank you for your promise of breakthrough. Help us to trust in your power and faithfulness, knowing that you are always at work on our behalf. Give us the courage to step out in faith and obedience, confident that you will make a way where there seems to be no way. Amen.

*Declaration*
I breaththrough in my finances, I receive a breaththrough in what was meant to destroy me, I win on every side.

*OVERCOMING THE SNARE OF LUST*

*Psalm 81:12 KJV*
_‘’So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust and the walked in their own counsel_

*Judges 16:4 KJV*
_‘’And it came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah.’’_

Psalm 81:12 and Judges 16:4 serve as poignant reminders of the dangers of yielding to lustful desires and the dire consequences of straying from God's guidance. These passages underscore the importance of remaining steadfast in our commitment to righteousness and holiness, even in the face of temptation. The downfall of many Christians can be traced back to pride, which leads them astray from their intended path. Instead of relying solely on our own strength and wisdom, the Bible admonishes us to trust in God's provision and guidance. Spiritual arrogance blinds us to our need for divine assistance and often results in a fall from grace.

Lust, in particular, poses a significant threat to our spiritual well-being. Rooted in the desires of the flesh, it seeks to entice and ensnare believers, compromising their commitment to holiness and tarnishing the purity of their relationship with God. Left unchecked, lust can lead to a downward spiral of sin and spiritual decay. Living a godly life requires constant vigilance and resilience. We must be prepared to engage in spiritual warfare, as Hebrews 12:4 admonishes us to "strive against sin." Victory over sin is attainable through diligent effort and reliance on the empowering grace of God.

Regrettably, many believers have succumbed to the allure of lust, allowing it to overshadow their pursuit of righteousness. They have fallen into the enemy's trap by compromising their moral standards and embracing impurity. Our daily choices should reflect our unwavering commitment to living lives that honor God and reflect His holiness. It is unwise to rely solely on our spirituality to shield us from the snares of darkness. The enemy is cunning and has been deceiving humanity since ancient times. We must walk in the wisdom of God, seeking His guidance and strength to navigate the challenges of life.

One of the devil's most effective tactics is to lull believers into complacency regarding their spiritual disciplines. Like Samson, we cannot afford to be careless and assume that we can always shake off the consequences of our actions. We must cultivate discipline and self-control, guarding against the subtle enticements of sin. We must be vigilant and recognize the danger of exposing ourselves to situations that cater to our weaknesses. By staying within the boundaries of consecration and relying on God's grace, we can avoid the pitfalls that lead to spiritual downfall.

*Prayer*
Father, grant me the strength to resist the lure of lust. Help me to live victoriously and uphold holiness in my life. Give me wisdom to discern the tactics of the enemy and the discipline to resist temptation.

*Declaration*
I declare that I am an overcomer, empowered by the Spirit of God to conquer lust and live a life that honors Him. I will walk in righteousness and holiness, reflecting God's glory to the world around me.

*THANKSGIVING BEFORE THE MIRACLE*

*Mark 11:24 KJV*
_“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”_

*Philippians 4:6 KJV*
_“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”_

It is often in our character that, when we want something from God, we keep begging Him. ‘God help me!’ ‘This sickness is still lingering’, ‘when will I finish paying my debts’, ‘let my children prosper’, ‘this addiction, when will you take it away from me?’ ‘this year I want to continue to serve you’, etc. What we fail to realize, however, is that when you continue to ask repeatedly, it means you are in doubt; you are saying you are not sure God will or can help you.

Remember those that God healed by their faith in the Bible: the woman with the issue of blood (Matt. 9:20-22), Blind Bartimaeus the beggar (Mk. 10:46-52), the centurion's servant (Lk. 7:1-10), etc. The significance of these stories is they present examples of people who exercised great faith in the willingness and ability of Christ to solve their problems.

The right attitude after praying should be: Father, thank You because I am healed, thank You because my children are for signs and wonders, thank You that I lend and not borrow, thank You because I eat the good of the land, thank You because I am free from every stronghold and generational curse, thank You for my rent that is paid already, thank You for You have set a table before me in the presence of my enemies, thank You because my business and my finances flourish like the cedars of lebanon, etc. This is exercising faith and trust in God before the miracle manifests or before you obtain the promise in the physical.

The spirit of thanksgiving activates God to authorize angelic movement towards your prayers. Jesus said in Mark 11 that when you pray, believe that it has happened, not until when you see it happening. Believe that God is faithful to set the miracle into action and become a material reality. Look for God’s promises in the Bible, on who God says you are, and lean on them; instead of asking over and over again in doubt. Trust God that He is above and capable to do all things. Trust Him that He is working on that problem. Learn to thank God more daily.

After praying, believe that things have shifted for you in the spiritual realm and start thanking God. Always learn to thank God in advance. When you face any problem today (a Goliath), don't analyze how big it is. Instead, thank God that you are victorious over it. When you murmur, it doesn't drive God’s attention; but when you switch to thanksgiving, it doesn't just encourage you, it moves God to work. Today, magnify God in your heart. Don't look at the waves, don't limit yourself by doubting, but receive victory through thanksgiving.

*Prayer*
Thank you, God, because you are Jehovah Jireh, the rainmaker, the one that has the final say. Thank you because you're fighting my battles. Thank you because goodness and mercy are following me and my family daily, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*Declaration*
Today, I declare that God is bigger than any giant confronting me. Today, I take You for Your Word, Lord. Thank You for all Your promises concerning me now and always.

*YOU ARE A STEWARD*

*Genesis 1:25-26 (KJV)*
_‘’And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.’’_

God is the Owner of everything on earth, and that includes every ASPECT of our lives. Our core responsibilities as believers includes stewardship of God's resources, and the goal of our stewardship is to accomplish God's mission in the world. As believers, we are called to approach stewardship with a humble heart, recognizing our dependence on God.

Stewardship is a matter of the heart that asks us to be resourceful and to share with others what God has given us, such as time, energy, money, and love. As stewards we ought to develop a lifestyle of open-handedness, compassion, empathy, and a reflection of God's generosity towards us. The Bible clearly teaches that we must sacrificially love and care for others, just as Christ first demonstrated to us.

In addition, God has entrusted us to oversee and manage His creation. Taking care of our planet, the environment, and the animals were the first tasks God used to teach man responsible stewardship. And now God expects us to extend that stewardship to fellow humans, sharing with the people within our immediate reach of whatever He has blessed us with. Also, we must ensure that we manage well everything He has given us so that they grow and multiply.

Matthew 25:29-30 KJV affirms, “For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” As stewards we are meant to take care of God's gifts in our lives and use them for the expansion and advancement of His kingdom. We are to be profitable servants and stewards. We are to freely give to those in need what we have freely received from God. We shouldn't be careless with God's gifts to us; we need to guard the resources He has given us and ensure we don't hesitate to give them back when there is a need for them.

As believers, we have to be trustworthy stewards of God's resources. Stewardship connects to everything God is doing in the world, so we need to have a system of accountability for everything God has put in our care and how wisely we use our spiritual and physical gifts. “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God” (1 Peter 4:10 KJV). As true stewards, we must learn to invest and share with others. For at the end we'll give an account of how we spent our days and how well we did our job as stewards.

*Prayer*
Lord, help me to be a good steward. Father, help me to care well for all that you've placed in my possession in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*Declaration*
I am a good steward. I give freely to others. I care for others. I am a profitable steward.

*CARNAL MIND VS SPIRITUAL MIND*

*Romans 8:6-8 (KJV)*
_‘’For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.’’_

Carnality as explained in the verse above as living according to the flesh, and living according to the flesh can be both subtle and obvious. It is a state of being focused on worldly things, rather than on spiritual matters. A carnal mind is characterized by self-centeredness, materialism, and a lack of spiritual maturity. The Bible says that "those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh" (Romans 8:5). A carnal person cannot have a strong relationship with God, or seek to grow in their faith.

A carnal mind is not what God desires for His people. Instead, He wants us to have a spiritual mind, which is characterized by love, peace, and selflessness. A spiritual mind is focused on God and seeks to follow His ways and live according to His will. Therefore, as Christians we must strive to avoid carnality; it is death to a spiritual man. When we're carnal, it's easy to fall into sin. We give in easily to our fleshly desires when tempted by worldly things. This can lead to a cycle of sin and shame, and can pull us away from God.

Carnality can damage our relationship with other Christians. We may become critical and judgmental, and we may be unable to love others as we should. Also, carnality leads to spiritual dryness and a lack of joy in our lives. So, why should we be spiritual instead? We can experience peace, joy, and contentment in our lives. We can grow in our relationship with God, and we can experience the fullness of His presence in our lives. A spiritual mind is also a discerning mind, and we can be better able to make wise decisions. Ultimately, being spiritual is the best way to live a life that honours God and brings glory to Him.

For a carnal mind to convert to being spiritual, first, you need to recognize that you have a carnal mind. Next, you have to renew your mind with God's Word. The Bible is the source of truth and wisdom, and it helps to change our thoughts and attitudes. So, meditate on God's Word and let it shape your life, and commit to living according to His ways. This means that you put your faith to action and make choices that align with God’s will.

To avoid the carnal mindset we need to constantly check our thoughts. The Bible says that we should take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ (2 Cor. 10:5). This means that we need to be aware of our thoughts and evaluate whether they are in line with God's Word. If they are not, we must quickly replace them with God's truth.

Also, many of our habits are often based on a carnal mindset, and we need to replace them with spiritual habits. For example, we can replace excessively watching the TV with reading the Bible, gossiping with encouraging others, etc. By changing our habits, we can help our minds and hearts become more aligned with God's ways. It may not be easy, but it will be worth it as we experience the freedom and joy of a spiritual life.

*Prayer*
Father, help me live a spiritual life and not be carnal, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*Declaration*
My heart is set on the things of God. I am focused and I live His will for my life.

*THE ANOINTING MAKES THE DIFFERENCE*

*1 Corinthians 1:21-22 NKJV*
_‘’For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.’’_

In the vast mosaic of spiritual understanding, few concepts are as rich and transformative as the
anointing. Originating from ancient practices of anointing with oil, it has evolved into a profound symbol of divine favor and empowerment. At its core, the anointing represents a sacred consecration, a tangible manifestation of God's presence and power in the life of the believer. The Scriptures resound with this message of inheritance and empowerment for believers.

The apostle Paul, writing to the Corinthian church, declares, "Now it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee" (2 Corinthians 1:21-22, ESV). Here, Paul unveils the glorious truth that every believer is anointed by God, not based on merit or performance, but by virtue of their union with Christ.

This anointing is not a distant or intangible reality but a present and abiding presence within the
believer. The apostle John reaffirms this truth, stating, "But you have received the Holy Spirit,
and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit
teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as
he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ" (1 John 2:27, NLT). The indwelling Holy
Spirit, who is the source of the believer's anointing, guides, empowers, and illuminates the truth, enabling them to walk in obedience and fulfill their God-given destiny.

This inheritance of the anointing carries with it profound implications for the life of the believer. It means that we are not left to navigate life's challenges and obstacles in our own strength or
wisdom but are endowed with divine power and enablement to overcome every trial and
temptation. As Paul writes to the Philippians, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens
me" (Philippians 4:13, NKJV). This empowerment is not contingent upon our abilities or
circumstances but flows from the inexhaustible riches of God's grace and mercy.

Moreover, the anointing equips believers for the work of ministry and service in the kingdom of God. Just as Jesus was anointed by the Holy Spirit to proclaim the good news, heal the sick, and set the captives free (Luke 4:18-19), so too are we empowered to carry forth His mission in
the world. As Paul reminds Timothy, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline" (2 Timothy 1:7, NLT).

In conclusion, the anointing is not a distant or elusive reality but a present and tangible
inheritance for every believer in Christ. It is a divine empowerment that enables us to walk in
obedience, overcome obstacles, and fulfill our God-given destiny in every facet of life.

*Prayer*
As I embrace this truth and yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit, may I experience afresh
the fullness of the anointing in my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

*Declaration*
In Jesus’ Name, I decree and declare that I am enabled to be an effective ambassador for
Christ in this world.

*THE FOUNDATION OF FAITH*

*Hebrews‬ 11:6‬ NKJV‬‬*
_‘’But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.’’_

Faith serves as the cornerstone of our relationship with God, anchoring our spiritual journey in trust and belief. Anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Faith transcends mere acknowledgment of God's existence; His character, His promises, and His benevolence. It embodies the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things unseen.

Consider the narrative of Abraham in Hebrews 11:8-10: "By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going... For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God." Despite uncertainty, Abraham's trust in God's faithfulness propelled him into obedience.

Similarly, the account of the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:25-34 illustrates faith's potency in effecting healing and restoration. Despite enduring years of suffering, she dared to believe that touching Jesus' garment would bring about her healing. In an instant, her faith was vindicated as she experienced instantaneous healing.

However, faith transcends mere receipt of blessings; it delights the heart of God. In Matthew 9:29, Jesus tells a blind man seeking healing, "According to your faith let it be done to you." Our faith activates God's power and invites His intervention in our lives. As we trust in Him and His promises, we bring Him joy. To cultivate and fortify our faith, we must intimately acquaint ourselves with God through His Word and prayer. Romans 10:17 asserts, "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ." As we immerse ourselves in Scripture and commune with God, our faith flourishes.

Moreover, we must opt to trust in God's goodness and faithfulness, even amidst adversity. Romans 4:20-21 extols Abraham's steadfast faith, declaring, "Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised."

*Prayer*
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the gift of faith, which enables me to please you and walk in your ways. Grant me the grace to believe in your goodness and faithfulness, even in challenging times. May my life bear witness to your faithfulness, bringing glory and honor to your name.

*Declaration*
Today, I declare that I walk in faith, trusting in God's character and promises. I choose to believe in His goodness and faithfulness, even when circumstances appear bleak. I step out in obedience, knowing that God rewards those who earnestly seek Him. I am confident that my faith pleases God and activates His power in my life.

*THE BEAUTY OF CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP*

*Acts‬ 2‬:42‬ KJV‬‬*
_‘’And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.“_

*Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV*
_‘’And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.’’_

Christian fellowship is a precious gift from God. It is more than just gathering together with other believers; it is a sacred bond that unites us as members of the body of Christ. In fellowship, we find encouragement, support, and accountability as we journey together in our walk of faith. The writer of Hebrews reminds us of the importance of fellowship in Hebrews 10:24-25. We are encouraged to "spur one another on toward love and good deeds," to "not give up meeting together," and to "encourage one another." This passage highlights the essential role that fellowship plays in our spiritual growth and wellbeing.

When we gather with fellow believers, we have the opportunity to lift each other up, to share our joys and sorrows, and to bear one another's burdens. In the midst of life's challenges and trials, our brothers and sisters in Christ can offer a listening ear, a word of encouragement, or a prayerful presence that reminds us we are not alone.

But fellowship is not just about receiving support; it is also about giving it. As members of the body of Christ, we are called to love and serve one another, to use our gifts and talents for the benefit of the community, and to be a source of strength and encouragement to those around us.In fellowship, we also find accountability. When we surround ourselves with fellow believers who share our commitment to following Christ, we are more likely to stay on course and remain faithful to our calling. We can challenge and sharpen one another, holding each other accountable to live lives that honor God and reflect His love and grace (Act 2:1-4).

As we engage in Christian fellowship, we are reminded of our unity in Christ. Regardless of our differences in background, personality, or experience, we are bound together by our shared faith in Jesus Christ. Together, we are part of something greater than ourselves - the body of Christ - and we have the privilege of participating in God's redemptive work in the world.

So let us not neglect the gift of fellowship. Let us make it a priority to gather with other believers, to build each other up in love, and to encourage one another in our faith. And may our fellowship be a reflection of the love and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, who calls us to love one another as He has loved us (John 13:34-35).

*Prayer*
Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of Christian fellowship. Help us to cherish and nurture the bonds of love and friendship that unite us as members of the body of Christ. Give us the grace to encourage one another, to bear one another's burdens, and to spur one another on towards love and good deeds. May our fellowship bring glory to Your name and further your kingdom here on earth. Amen.

*Declaration*
I declare that because I crave the pure spiritual milk of Your Word, I’m growing into the fullness of Your salvation. I enjoy fellowship with God and man.

*I SHALL NOT BE MOVED*

*Psalm 16:8 KJV*
_"I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved."_

Happy workers’ day and welcome to the glorious month of May.
Like every other month, loaded within each day of this new month are countless benefits for everyone of us. Guaranteed also within every day is our safety, protection, preservation and victory no matter what may come our way. Angels have been given charge over us to stop every demonic activity that the enemy might bring.

More than ever before, we must walk by faith and not by sight because the days are evil and demonic activities are on the increase. We must never take our eyes off our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ or lose sight of Him. That is why the Psalmist said, “I have set the LORD always before me." We all know the story of Peter, how by taking his eyes away from the Lord, because of the noise and force of the waves, he started to sink.

The charge that we all have from the Lord is that we don’t allow situations, circumstances, the news, rumors, boisterous waves, the noise of life or the threat of the enemy make us take our eyes off Him. We must keep our eyes locked unto Him like a flint. In the realm of the Spirit, sight is power. What you see is what you get. What you see is what you become, and it determines your lot, your posture, your disposition and your experience. Hence, what you see and how you see in the realm of the Spirit are very important.

Prophets see into two realms side by side. Jeremiah was asked by God, “What do you see?” He said “I see the rod of an almond tree,” and God told him he had seen well and “I will hasten my word to perform it.” Another version says “I will stand by you.” So, we are guaranteed to have God standing by and sticking to us when we see clearly the things that He is showing us. Elisha was not moved by the armies that came against him, for he did not lose sight of the Lord and the angels of the Lord that were for him. And until his servant’s eyes were opened to see what Elisha saw, he was still in panic mode.
Keep your eyes on the Lord. Don’t be fixated on what you don’t have. Fix your eyes on the Lord, not on your bank account, your body clock, or the doctor’s report. Keep your eyes on the Lord, for the Lord is your life and strength. That is why the Psalmist also said “I have set the Lord at my right hand and I shall not be moved.” Keep Him at your right hand. Your right hand is the place of your power. When the Lord is at your right hand, He ensures that your strength does not fail and your power does not diminish. He becomes your helper and your standby. When He stands by you and with you, nothing can move you.
This is the attitude that you must adopt in this new month, and indeed, you shall not be moved.

*PRAYER*
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, help me to keep my eyes on You. Help me to stand strong.

*DECLARATION*
I declare, in the name of Jesus, that May 2024 opens to me in glory, in splendor and uncommon blessings. My eyes are on the Lord, I shall not be moved.

*SEEING CLEARLY*

*Proverbs 29:18 KJV*
_"Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he."_

In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it's easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. We get caught up in routines, tasks, and immediate needs, forgetting the long-term goals and aspirations that truly drive us. Our opening verse above reminds us of the importance of vision, not just for our personal lives but for the health and well-being of a community. It paints a stark picture, which says: Without a clear vision, a sense of purpose and direction, individuals and communities flounder. They lack the motivation and inspiration to persevere through challenges and strive for something better.

Imagine a builder starting a construction project without a blueprint. The finished product would likely be haphazard and dysfunctional. Similarly, without a vision, our lives lack purpose and structure. We wander aimlessly, making choices based on immediate desires rather than long-term goals. The Bible is filled with stories of individuals who possessed a powerful vision. Moses for one, guided by God's vision, led the Israelites out of slavery and towards the Promised Land. Nehemiah, with a vision to rebuild Jerusalem's walls, rallied the people and accomplished the seemingly impossible task in record time.

So, how do we cultivate a clear vision for our own lives? Firstly, we should reflect on our values. What matters most to you in life? Is it your faith, family, career, or making a positive impact on the world? Identifying your core values will help guide your vision. Dream big. Don't be afraid to set ambitious goals for yourself, inspired by the Spirit of God. What kind of life do you want to live? What impact do you want to make? Seek God's guidance. Pray and ask God to reveal His vision for your life. Trust that He has a plan for you, and be open to following His lead. And lastly, break it down. Once you have a general idea of your vision, break it down into smaller, more achievable goals. This will make your vision feel less overwhelming and more actionable.

It's important to note that having a vision is important, but it's only part of the equation. True success comes from combining vision with faith. Trust that God will equip you with the resources and strength you need to achieve your goals. The scripture assures us, “’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’” (Jeremiah 29:11). When we hold onto this promise, we can pursue our vision with confidence, knowing that God is walking alongside us.
Don't let your vision fade away. Keep it close to your heart, revisit it regularly, and let it guide your choices. With a clear vision and unwavering faith, you can achieve remarkable things and live a life that truly matters.

*PRAYER*
Father, give me a clear vision and let my faith not waver, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*DECLARATION*
I see clearly, and I pursue my God-given vision with confidence because God is working alongside me.

*GOD’S FIRST WORDS; WHAT ARE YOURS?*

*Genesis 1:3 TLB*
_Then God said, “Let there be light.” And light appeared._

The book of Genesis introduced us to the Trinity (God; The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit) and the creation story of all life, seen and unseen. Nevertheless, that is not all that the first four verses of Genesis chapter 1 teach. Parents are thrilled and oftentimes try to document the experience of their child's first words. The feeling experienced by every parent when a child speaks for the first time shows how important words are in our lives.
You see, our rights in Christ are validated by our confessions (words). In the beginning, God was faced with emptiness, darkness, and formlessness, the same way we face similar circumstances every day of our lives. Similarly, Job and Joseph (Job 1:8-19 & Gen 39:6-7) woke up one day and terrible loss (death) and a pit of darkness (innocent imprisonment) confronted them. For each day we are awakened, emptiness, darkness, and formlessness confront us in the form of different negative circumstances.

Verse 3 of Genesis 1 records that “Then God said…” This means that every circumstance we face requires us to respond to it with words just as God did to His. When God faced the circumstance of a formless earth, the first thing we saw Him do was speak. In the same vein, we being God's children must speak up when faced with negative circumstances of life. Interestingly, consciously or unconsciously, we do speak to the circumstances that confront us daily. The question then is, what are the first words that come out of your mouth to address a circumstance?

God's first words to the circumstance that faced him were, “Let there be light.” Our God is light and He spoke light into a dark state. This underscores that the words that come out from our lips when we are faced with unfavourable circumstances reflect what is in our core. God's core is light and so He declared light as His first words. Job's core was worship, so he blessed the name of the Lord. Joseph's core was holiness, so he decided not to sin against God. What are your first words to every circumstance that you encounter? Do you agree with it and reconfirm the emptiness, darkness, or formlessness it presents? Or do you from the abundance of God's word and His indwelling Spirit in you speak words of life? Remember that every circumstance requires that you speak to it, therefore choose to always speak life and you will be pleased with the outcome just as God was pleased with His creation.

*Prayer*
Dear God, fill me with Yourself to the point of overflow so that the first words of my mouth addressing any circumstance are words of life, in Jesus' name, Amen.

*Declaration*
I declare in the name of Jesus that I rejoice in God, for I have come to put my trust in Him and exalt the knowledge of God over every circumstance in my life. And I silence every voice of emptiness, darkness, and formlessness as liars! Amen.

*CALLED TO FOLLOW*

*John 8:31-32, 51 NIV)*
_Then Jesus said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free”. Whoever keeps my word will never see death._

In the verse above, Jesus utters a profound statement that lies at the heart of faith. Discipleship isn't defined by mere belief. It's about actively "abiding" in Jesus' word. The Greek term used for "abide" carries the idea of dwelling or remaining. It speaks of a continuous state, a life oriented towards Christ's teachings. Similarly, the word "disciple" carries a deeper meaning than simply someone who agrees with a teacher. It describes a learner, someone who actively seeks to understand and embody the teachings of their master.

This concept is seen throughout the Gospels. In Luke 9:23, Jesus declares, "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me." Discipleship isn't a passive pursuit; it requires a commitment to self-denial, willingness to surrender our desires to follow God's will. It's a daily choice to embrace the teachings of Christ, even when they challenge our comfort zones.

The reward for such commitment is immense. Jesus promises that those who abide in His word will "know the truth, and will be set free." In a world overflowing with misinformation and uncertainty, God's word offers a foundation of truth. As we delve deeper into scripture, we gain a clearer understanding of God's character, His purpose for our lives, and the path towards authentic freedom. This freedom isn't simply the absence of limitations, but liberation from sin, fear, and the burdens that weigh us down. He also promised life. "Whoever keeps my word will never see death." Here, "death" is not the physical end of life, but spiritual separation from God.

The response of the Jews highlights the challenge of discipleship. They questioned Jesus' claim, implying that true followers of Abraham, the father of their faith, must have endured a long life. Discipleship, however, is not measured by age or experience. It's about a continuous commitment to learning and living according to Jesus' principles.

Now, how do we become true disciples? You dedicate time each day to immerse yourself in God's word. Start with small, manageable portions. Meditate on the verses that resonate with you. Develop a consistent prayer life. Talk to God openly, expressing your gratitude, struggles, and desires. Surround yourself with other believers who can support and encourage you on your faith journey. Find a church where you can grow, learn, and serve alongside others. And as you learn, translate that knowledge into action. Strive to live a life that reflects Christ's teachings, allowing your faith to shape your decisions and actions.

Jesus' teachings focused on love, forgiveness, compassion, and service. We must strive to embody these values in our daily interactions. Look for opportunities to show kindness, offer help to those in need, and practice forgiveness. Share your faith. The Great Commission, found in Matthew 28:19-20, instructs us to "go and make disciples of all nations." Discipleship is an ongoing process of sharing our faith with others. This can be done through open conversations, acts of service, or simply living a life that reflects Christ's teachings.

Discipleship is a lifelong journey of learning, growing, and becoming more like Christ. It's a path paved with challenges, but also one brimming with purpose, joy, and the profound freedom that comes from knowing and following the truth.

*Prayer*
Thank You, Lord, for calling us to be Your disciples. Help us to be committed learners, ever seeking to understand Your word. Grant us the strength to live according to Your teachings, and courage to share Your message with the world.

*Declaration*
I live according to Christ’s teachings and my life reflects God's standards.

*The Power and Purpose of Prophecy*

*1 Corinthians 14:1 NIV*
_"Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy."_

Prophecy is a divine gift that has been bestowed upon us, believers, by the Holy Spirit for the edification, encouragement, and comfort of the Church (1 Cor. 14:3, NIV). It is a sacred channel through which God communicates His will, guidance, and intentions to His people. Throughout scriptures, we see numerous examples of prophets who spoke forth the Word of the Lord with clarity and authority, often foretelling future events or calling people to repentance.

One of the primary purposes of prophecy is to reveal God's heart and intentions to His people. In Amos 3:7 (NIV), we read, "Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets." God desires to communicate with His children, and prophecy serves as a means to convey His messages directly to us. Through prophecy, God offers guidance, correction, and assurance, guiding us along the path of righteousness and leading us closer to Him.
Another essential aspect of prophecy is its role in building up the body of Christ. In 1 Corinthians 14:3 (NIV), Paul writes, "But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort." Prophecy has the power to uplift and inspire believers, providing them with spiritual nourishment and fortitude to persevere in their faith journey. It offers hope in times of despair, assurance in times of uncertainty, and direction in times of confusion.

Moreover, prophecy serves as a tool for evangelism and outreach. In 1 Corinthians 14:24-25 (NIV), Paul describes how the prophetic gifts can convict unbelievers of their sin and lead them to repentance: "But if an unbeliever or an inquirer comes in while everyone is prophesying, they are convicted of sin and are brought under judgment by all, as the secrets of their hearts are laid bare. So they will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, 'God is really among you!'" That is, through prophecy, God demonstrates His presence and power, drawing people to Himself and transforming their lives.
It's crucial to note that while prophecy is a valuable gift, it must be exercised with humility, discernment, and accountability. In 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21 (NIV), Paul admonishes us, saying, "Do not treat prophecies with contempt but test them all; hold on to what is good." Prophecy should always align with the teachings of Scripture and be subject to the scrutiny of mature believers and spiritual leaders.

In conclusion, prophecy is a precious gift bestowed upon us by the Holy Spirit for the edification, encouragement, and comfort of the Church. It serves as a means through which God communicates His will, guidance, and intentions to His people, building up the body of Christ and drawing unbelievers to Himself. As we eagerly desire spiritual gifts, let us also pursue love and seek to exercise prophecy in accordance with God's Word and His purposes for His kingdom.

*Prayer*
Dear Heavenly Father, help us to eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially prophecy, as we seek to edify, encourage and comfort one another in love.

*Declaration*
In Jesus’ name, I declare that as I eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially prophecy, I will use them to edify, encourage, and comfort the brethren, aligning with God's Word and purposes for His kingdom. Amen.

*NURTURING PROSPERITY: THE POWER OF DILIGENCE UNVEILED*

*Proverbs 24:30-34 NKJV*
_‘’I went by the field of the lazy man, And by the vineyard of the man devoid of understanding; And there it was, all overgrown with thorns; Its surface was covered with nettles; Its stone wall was broken down. When I saw it, I considered it well; I looked on it and received instruction: A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest; So shall your poverty come like a prowler, And your need like an armed man.’’_

*Proverbs 13:23 NKJV*
_‘’Much food is in the fallow ground of the poor, and for lack of justice there is waste.’’_

Many times, uncultivated and barren fields are the source of poverty's troubles. These fields cover a broad range of industries in the modern world, including banking, technology, sports, politics, and ministry. Instead of harvesting a crop when we don't put in the required amount of time, energy, sweat, and tears into caring for our share, we end up surrounded by weeds and thorns. As we have come to see it, true prosperity comes from the results of our labour. This idea is echoed in Ecclesiastes 5:9, which says, "Even the king is served by the field; the profit of the earth is for all." This is a fact that affects every field of human endeavour. The wealthiest people in our day get their fortunes from the rich field of technology because they have become experts at nurturing its enormous territory.

The profits we make are directly related to how well we do in the industry we have chosen. It is essentially dependent on how well we negotiate the terrain that God has given us, not just on the quality of the field itself. We are all capable of making a healthy profit if we know how to manage the land that has been entrusted to us. Potential alone in the field is insufficient; it needs to be carefully cultivated. A hardworking person who cultivates rich soil will get abundant rewards. On the other hand, ignored fields are frequently the consequence of a loss of enthusiasm, sloth, procrastination, a lack of wisdom, indiscipline, and waning focus. If only the impoverished person would cultivate their soil, they could feast on abundance. On the other hand, folks who are wealthy are not just fortunate; they work hard to improve their circumstances.

Scripture begs us to acknowledge that the giants of IT, aviation, music, athletics, or any other industry are people who toil diligently at what they do. Football legends Messi and Ronaldo are admired for their talent as well as their relentless work ethic. Success is a direct result of diligence. Due to a tendency toward idleness, many people who should be reaping millions instead find their fields overrun with weeds and thorns. Imagine walking through the fields of a slothful or sluggish person and discovering them choked with neglect as a result of their unchecked idleness.

Once the plough is picked up in this field of work, it must be used continuously without interruption or backward glances. God takes great pleasure in our output. His first instruction to humanity was to "Be fruitful," which stands for the seeds He gave us and waited for us to grow. Tilling our soil, planting and increasing the seed, encouraging fruitfulness, replenishing, and establishing dominion are our tasks. We thereby bring our blessings into reality. When we diligently cultivate our fields, the Abrahamic blessing upon our life is expressed and the land is replenished with the bounty of our labour, culminating in fruitfulness, multiplication, and dominion.

*Prayer*
Father, fill me with overflowing joy, shielding me from despair, and reminding me of hope in every trial.

*Declaration*
I declare the joy of the Lord as my strength, empowering me to overcome adversity with His light.
