You can message anybody privately. You send a request for a chat if the person accepts,both of you can then chat through Email.
Most people dont know that you can get comments deleted by yourself when you report them.

You yourself call it a mail request. You also know that if the request is accepted, exchange of messages will be via mail, not via Nairaland. In conclusion, no inbox on Nairaland. You cannot delete people's comments or posts, even if you report them. What happens is that comments or posts reported by you are hidden from you but shown to other Nairalanders. A comment or post is removed for everyone only when a moderator removes the comment or the post.

What are you saying sef? Are you not on Facebook or Twitter and don't you see how their block/mute/hide-comment button work? Even at the moment, what you just said is already a feature of Nairaland; the only thing is that you'll have to continue to do that every time you see the person's comment, instead of just muting the person once and not see their comments again until you decide to unmute them again.
