This unfortunate!! If the tenant have a tenancy agreement and didn't default the landlord should have himself to blame in the long run besides the last time I checked it's only the courts who have such powers to evict a tenant

Guy man forget...my landlady want to send me out because i did not pay on time. My house rent expired every 29th of January and she came to collect her money on February 2nd. The lady in the picture was thrown out on Monday by her landlord for her inability to pay her rent of 3,5OO per month. So for 5 days since she was thrown out, she has nowhere else to move her things to.

Interestingly, this lady is a graduate from Ikot Abasi LGA of the state. According to her, she graduated from the University of Uyo in 2005, served,and returned home, and hadn't been able to secure a job since then to date. This was the saddest part of her story as she only sells groundnuts to make ends meet.

May God help each and every one of us after school.🙏

So it's only in Nigeria that people get evicted? Come to Atlanta alone and see how many people are evicted from apartments and houses on a daily basis. I can't even count how many people I have had to go to court to get evicted over the years.
If you can't pay, you will be evicted. No room for begging.
In fact, people in Nigeria have it much easier, I have tenants in Nigeria right now who have not paid and all they do is beg and pray. Here there is no begging and praying for another month or whatever. Once you are past the agreed date of rental payment, sharp sharp, don go court to get for eviction.
Unless you can pay, the Judge will give permission to evict within 7 days.
