How and when did those structures build? Are they just there today. Someone or some people need to be published for this not just pulling down the buildings

Many Nigerians like doing things illegally saying nothing will happen, when something starts happening they begin to form victimization.
Some believe there's nothing money cannot resolve

No one gave them any C Of O. You don't know how those money bag work. They believe that once you throw money around you got no issues. No poor man can afford building anything on that kind of place. It takes millions to even fill it up or reclaim.

People should stop building all these short houses in Lagos that has limited land. The best thing is for government to ban building of any structures less than 30 floors to end all these riffraffs building duplexes everywhere. If you want to build duplex come to Port Harcourt

Lagos state government should stop destroying people's properties. People build houses near Canals and over Canals in Amsterdam.

See how Sand dredgers blocked the water channel trying to create a pathway for the area they are sand filling to sell to the public.
it is a matter of Dos and Don'ts

They should have studied the areas that were previously prone to major and dangerous flooding and tracked to flood cause and channel maps to free such areas.

After all this destruction of property and to still see dangerous flooding will be a double tragedy. undecided

The problem of crime is that punishment like life is not fair. It is not the job of the law to save a criminal money.

It is also not all criminals that will be caught - and certainly not all on the same day.

Everytime a person commits a crime, he takes a gamble. In this case, the bet money and profit were lost.

what has all the above got to do with the question I asked?

IPOB cannibals and obirodent miscreants have started playing the ethnic card, when in actual fact demolition takes place in their region, without anybody playing the ethnic card.
You would think no other ethnic groups living in Lagos.
