Again... You focus on the president and miss the big picture. If every LG counsellor and House of Assembly member has his feet to the fire for poor service delivery... it wouldn't matter much if the State Governor is a "Tinubu" or APC Governor. If the electorate holds Senators, House of Rep members accountable, the checks intended for governance would work. But instead we allow people like this to distract us... Focusing on the presidency that no matter how poor the principal is, 1/3 part (if not more) of the nation will be ready to defend him on either ethnic or religious grounds. Focus on getting good governance at State and Local level... At least it's not common to have a Yoruba man being Zamfara State governor, nor Ibo man being responsible for Ekiti State administration! Pick your battles... Our Strength is only in our unity, so at least Unite at LG levels first, if national Unity is a big ask! And fix your State's... May God give us sense. This their Divide and Rule just dey chop us since 19 00s Melagros: 1 Like |
