This project takes a significant fraction of Lagos State revenue. With the level consistency the state government has demonstrated, I am confident that the next administration won't let Nigeria happen to the project. Every state needs to learn consistency from Lagos State.

But some people claimed gbadebo was better lol.

Nigeria should go back to regions. We need to annex non-performing states and merge them to productive ones

While some Governors are busy sponsoring pilgrimage with no economic benefits, Lagos and Oyo has shown true leadership...

Ironically, indigens of non-productive states will be lecturing the productive ones on Good governance. Pls hold your leaders accountable!!

Let them neglect their state governors and continue to hate performing government about .

He don dey late already , but I hope it won’t be too late than this before they realize they are doing more harm to their selves for not holding their state governors accountable than good .

You have to understand that Lagos is not just a state. It is much more than that, and frankly comparing it to other states in Nigeria is not comparing apples for apples. It is almost analogous to trying to compare other cities in Nigeria (other than Lagos) to Abuja and assessing them based on the development in Abuja. It simply isn't apples for apples. Just as Abuja is the political capital of Nigeria, Lagos is its economic capital. To give you some idea of how significant that difference is, just take a look at the amount of Federal Tax offices in Lagos as opposed to the rest of the country. Look here -

That should tell you a lot about the significance of Lagos as an economic nerve centre.

All proud of my state Lagos. This will bring massive development to those axis. The wish ones are already buying land around badagry, now the value of land around there is going up because of the development taking place and hopefully soon, badagry sea port will be coming on board, may God continue to protect Lagos from it enemies who only wish it bad…Eko oni baje oo

without Emergency lovers, there will be no Lagos. Majority of emergency classified lovers are not lagosians. Remove the man whose wealth of Lagos is in his hands in the person on Dangote and Lebanese/indian/chinese/ eastern traders, you are left with nothing. Learn not to insult so quick. A single individual who is not even an indigene of ogun state is already in charge by his numerous industries that cannot be compared with any other person from that zone in general. Dangote on the beat. Emergency lovers are important always.

Out of curiosity, what position do you believe Ghana's regional capitals would place - in terms of infrastructure and economy - added to a list of Nigeria's state system capitals? Also how in-depthly or comprehensively has Ghana Regional system enabled Ghana to develop compared to Nigeria's state system?
