The federal government has deployed a team of officers to monitor the activities of its Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), as part of measures at ensuring the full implementation of its Performance Management System (PMS).

The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF), Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, said this on Tuesday in Abuja at a retreat on PMS for federal permanent secretaries.

The development is coming on the heels of the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Coordination, Hadiza Bala-Usman’s launch of the ‘citizens delivery tracker’ of federal government officials, which she said will use empirical data to evaluate the performance of ministers.

Speaking at the retreat in Abuja, Yemi-Esan said the most focal enabler to bring about the rapid and sustainable implementation of PMS is ‘culture change’.

The way dollar will jump 🦘🦘🦘 back to 2000 like a kangaroo will be brutal this time because what they have been doing is artificial depreciation of the dollar. Once the reserves they used in servicing the forex finishes, it will go back to high. It's not the first time, Buhari did the same thing. That's the reason Nigerian foreign reserves went down recently. If the naira is naturally appreciating against the dollar, it will instantly reflect on the prices of Products in the country

Make thunder fire Apc. Everything is propaganda. All we are having is paper improvements while the masses are languishing in poverty. Set of ministry to monitor this that will monitor that. Who's fooling who? Fuel prices decreases, diesel prices decreases, yet no effect on the lives of the common man. Ndi ala, ndi ala

This makes sense... Any fuel station selling above the stated price should be shut down or fined 100m

Nigeria will be great again whether they like it or yes

I'm sure you don't live in Nigeria. Otherwise I see no reason for you wish evil upon Nigeria. Even if you don't live within the country, you have relatives here.

Nigeria shall get better, and you and your group shall be shamed.....

Hope they won't collude with the officers to carry out their heinous act? This is Nigeria, a country where a committee set up to oversee a corruption committee will turn out to even be more corrupt than the committee they are to watch over.

This is good development. They will now see the total decay of infrastructure in MDAs.

NAFDAC, NTA, RADIO NIGERIA, UNITY SCHOOLS ETC are all dead due to government negligence.

Kindly go out and find out that the price of rice has gone down, tiles and some other stuffs. I even checked jumia and found out that some phones that were above 200k are now around 100k or below.

Stop this blame game.

Lovely.
Performance management is crucial for Nigeria civil servants to improve their accountability and productivity. Gone should be the days of resuming work at 11:00am and leaving by 1:00pm, yet doing nothing.
