Naira gaining value against Dollar is good for Nigeria as a country. But it is not a good achievement by APC. Know the difference. How can it be considered a good achievement by the APC that took Naira from 216 per Dollar to whatever Naira is per Dollar now?

APC said ₦216 per Dollar was too much. Therefore, no APC government is good unless the regime takes Naira below 260 per Dollar without taking the nation's foreign reserve below what the reserve was during the time of PDP.

Praising the government when Naira is 216 per Dollar means praising stagnancy.

Praising the government when Naira is above 216 per Dollar means praising backwardness.

How did food prices and cost of living change in response so we can appreciate this announcement?

Will Nigerians eat these daily up and down N50 fluctuations on the price of dollar?

We will keep fighting for Nigerians against government propaganda

Why are you crying? Did Aisha hushmummy not tell you to keep your dollar close? What’s your business with APC and the rate?

—Naira increase in value, you cry
—Naira decrease in value, you weep

What exactly do you want? It was almost $1 to ₦1 in the 60s, when are you asking when Tinubu will make it 1:1?

He is an Obidienciary. They're in serious pain. They expected naira to be #2000 to a dollar. Imagine the idiot saying APC said #216 to a dollar was too much so it should go back to #216.

They are currently confused.

I don’t know how one will be purposely praying for bad thing that will also affect them negatively.

How can you be angry that naira is appreciating when it will eventually lead to more purchasing power for you when the price settle at the market. This their own brand of opposition is a danger to society.

Mr President, if keeping the dollar below 1k is your only achievement, God will continue to bless you. From my personal perspective, the dollar at N1800 really affected me so I thank Mr President for his effort so far.

Even if one is not a fan or supporter of Tinubu, the bolded is the is just the part that's annoying, that anyone living in Nigeria will be happy to see the ₦ depreciate in value is astounding.
You can understand diaspora Nigerians wishing it's continued depreciation because it increases the purchasing power of their $ and £ and makes them tingods in Nigeria, but a Nigerian in Nigeria happy that your earnings in naira are depreciating at an alarming rate?Just unbelievable.

The conclusion of the matter everything been read carefully on Nairaland, I noticed some people are not okay. How can u praise someone that met dollar at 600 raise it to 1800 and manage to bring it to 1000. Is dat where he met it? Are u people celebrating backwardness.

One Yoruba adage says "if oracle can not help you, let the oracle leave you where it met you".

That's if you read my submission without the childish lenses on Mr. Your definition of "truth" is that nobody should glory in anything because you say so and I told you to go chide Bloomberg for celebrating the Naira appreciation feat.

When the Naira depreciated you and your ilks rallied everyday to celebrate. Now there is a decline in that trajectory and you want to still make us believe the government has no hand in it and nobody should celebrate nothing!!

This your cruise don sour Mr Dollar VAR!
