Imagine a small custard paint of garri ₦3500, Electricity bill hike, transportation hike, cooking gas more than ₦1500 per kg. House rent hike, custard paint of local rice more than ₦8000. All of these on ₦30,000 minimum wage. Which country is fighting the worst war more than Nigeria? Is hunger no more weapon of war?

Nobody is praying for Congo, nobody is talking about Sudan, no one remembers the war in Ethiopia, same with Rwanda, Somalia, and Uganda, among others. Many Africans and Nigerians in particular, are programmed to stand for others while their home is on fire. Colonialism and imperialism is still here with us but this time we're the ones enforcing it upon ourselves. We are being constantly reminded of Hitler's atrocities to the Jews but no one is reminding us about the Belgian King Leopold's attrocities on Africans which was worse. And the tragedy of a Blackman is that when you want to fight for his right you need to use only one hand, for you'll need the other hand to protect yourself from same Blackman that will certainly fight you.
