Fresh attacks have rocked communities in the Mangu and Bokkos local government areas of Plateau State, resulting in the loss of lives, although the exact number of casualties is yet to be confirmed.

The State Police Command and Operation Safe Haven, OpSH, have not issued official statements in response to the incidents as their spokesmen were unavailable for comment at the time of reporting. However, credible sources have confirmed the separate attacks.
