Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK) has just appointed its first ever female Vice-Chancellor. Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, a professor of Islamic Studies, has been selected to lead the institution effective from Monday 15 April 2024. This was announced by the Secretary to the Nasarawa State Government, Barrister Muhammad Ubandoma-Aliyu, on Wednesday 17 April 2024. According to the statement, the appointment was approved by the Governor of the State, Engineer Abdullahi Audu Sule and follows extensive consultations plus in-depth review of recommendations from the Professor Attahiru Jega-led Governing Council. The Governor, exercising his powers as the Visitor to the state-owned university, officially approved Professor Liman’s appointment as the Vice-Chancellor with effect from 15 April 2024.
