Paint of garri in 2014 was 250 naira.
I personally bought bag of garri then for 6,000 naira.
Garri Ijebu then was 3,500 naira.
Don't really know where we got it wrong.
God help the poor.

My sister it is all greed from the sellers

Nothing to show

road to perdition

Stop complaining and get to work.

Do you know how many private houses , factories and businesses were built in that space of time? Do you have an idea about how many fleets of brand new cars were sold in Nigeria?

Get to work and stop complaining. Your perception is not generic.

Do u know that I neva bought gaari till I graduated in 2006? My mother with all my siblings had our farm where we planted cassava. I neve knew the price of gaari till I abandoned farming! Like me, many and many people have abandoned farming! Not even the ones close to our villages! Let me reiterate, gaari and other agricultural produce will become unbearable if farming is left in the hands of few! We deserve it!

Nigerians, we are our own enemy, not the government and if we don't change this mentality, we would continue to suffer this, there are somethings that are not meant to even be expensive...

I could remember like 11years ago, when I served in Akwa ibom, Uruan LG (Nung ikon obio) my landlord and the wife gave me and my second corper a plot of land to harvest casava and we divided it into two and give the landlord half and we shared our own half with my other corper we did alot of garri and even brought to Lagos for my family...

In some places, garri shouldn't be expensive, I see a thread where somebody said garri is now 250 in calabar, where they have abundant of casava land.

I go run 🏃‍♀️ comot for this Nigeria 🇳🇬 for unah one day

Do you think farming is the only problem here, you better hold your government accountable and stop blaming the citizens, ask yourself what happened to the same people selling Garri during Jonathan's and now?

Did they suddenly become wicked because Tinubu is in power, just admit it the government has failed, don't blame the citizens, the more you blame the citizens and the government is seeing comments like yours the more feel relaxed to damage things more....

Stop defending rubbish....

Sophisticated in dragging the nation to ruins.

His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) is taking us back to those good old days.

His Excellency has recently been worried and eager to swiftly take the nation back to the glorious days, where basics and necessities of life were within reach to all.

Change and development are gradual processes, and that, His Excellency, is working on.

Bag of rice cost N2500 in 1999. Same bag cost N10,000 in 2014. Same bag costs N26,000 in 2020. So in 20years, the price of Rice has increased by 1000%.

Oga you are so wrong. Our only problem is bad government.
Nigeria has more farmers than the US and the EU put together yet Holland alone exports Agricultural products worth over 124 billion Euros.
Our problem isn't that enough people aren't into Agriculture. Our only problem is our evil government.

Who was your economics teacher. Increase in population means increase in labor and hence production.
Also, our population increased by less than 10% from 2015 till date yet food prices have gone up by over 400%. You are the one in need of education.
