A man, Mr. Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, has taken to his Facebook page to narrate how some trigger happy police men in Aba shot one, Chief Michael N. Okocha for refusing to 'roja' after checking his particulars and confirming the authenticity of the said particulars.
Mr. Okocha who hails from Abiriba and was returning to base in Aba in the company of another man told the policeman that after wasting his time checking his particulars he was still demanding for money from him, entered his car and was about to move when another policeman shot him. According to the eyewitness who was seated at the passenger's seat with Mr Okocha driving said that Okocha raised alarm that he had been shot.
The policemen, on seeing what happened entered their van and zoomed off. The victim was rushed to the nearby Living Word Mission Hospital in Abayi and an immediate surgery was carried out on him by a team of doctors only for him to die the next day.
The said policemen who carried out the dastardly act have been identified at the. MCC, Abayi police station by the eyewitness who was the passenger with chief Okocha in the vehicle.

Consequences of No-Gre for anybody. My right, my right will continue to kill people. A gentle andwer turns away wrath. If it is 200-500-1000 Naira give some people. There should be stiffer punishment for uniformed men guilty of extra judicial killings maybe some innocent lives will not be lost. On the other hand na person wey die lose o!!! Let's try to be very careful when dealing with uniformed men.
